LIVE GAME Round 11 vs. Dolphins

Live Game Discussion
Fair mate, I saw it differently. I thought Dolphins had a pretty off night and most other teams in the comp probably put them away tonight
Any team that plays us 99% know they will beat u because we are a pathetic joke.
So, they play with a lot less intensity than they would against any other team which gives the very real impression of them having a bad night.

Naden lost me for ever with his stupidity today because it was just a blatant cheap shot that has always been a penalty since i was playing back in the 60's,however it was even worse than that because it was less than a minute to half time and we were getting the ball back.It was beyond dumb and he would/should have known that he would be binned for 10 minutes. We are not strong enough as a club to make terrible decisions like this.
I hope he plays reggies or below for the rest of the year and is gone at the end of the year.

I agree we don’t really have a lot of centre options this year but after last weeks heroics and now backing it up again this week. I’d settle for a centre that can stay on the park and make the occasional tackle, he really should be given the move on.

Good defence unsettles opposition teams. This team scrambles well and causes frustration in the opposition. Don't know how many times the opposition weren't playing well line can be used or they would have thrashed us before some credit is given to our blokes.
12 -6 when we were reduced to 11 men gave the Dolphins the space to execute and the advantage they needed to get over us. I would argue that the use of the sin bin in both cases was discretionary neither professional fouls or in try scoring opportunities but proved to be critical toward our chances of winning the game. As for the Dolphins last try why that was not referred to the bunker when their was enough evidence to suggest JMK knocked into one of his own players Annesley wont need to explain cause no one gives a rats.

Our attack is poor and frustrating as hell to watch and not sure with the players we have got how it improves this season to overcome teams who have superior players. So the frustration goes on and blame can be shared by players and coach there are plenty of targets

Why do we not attack and challenge our last tackle kicks... Why don't we make a contest of it, near their line there all possibility of a spilt ball, 6 again or anything but we just make it easy for the opposition, no pressure just turn over possesion... Until it's late in the game and it's desperation time
Does my head in......
Some. Teams challenge on every play, we'd be way less the 50%

I believe the Hammer try the ball came off JMKs chin then chest first and no knock on... At first I thought it was a definite knock on but the last replay showed it didn't come off his arms or hands

After Penrith won their first of the 3 premierships where Naden played most games (from memory missed the grand final with the drug episode).

The following year Naden barely played first grade for Penrith. Cleary knew he couldn’t trust him. Looks like the same happened at the dogs pretty quickly. We haven’t realised this until now.

Problem is he’s still contracted for next year. Might need a Nofa payout to get rid of him.

For all the craziness of the Naden it didn't cost us the game. We can't score points and that comes down to our attack not being good enough and that's not the players that's the attacking structures
imo BB it’s a combination of both structures and players.
And anytime you get sent to the bin it makes it that much harder to win the game, espfacially when it was not necessary.

Wow Api's response during the press conference was all CLASS!! Pointed to his own errors and areas to improve on rather than throw his teammates under the bus. They should bloody follow his attitude and improve (hopefully)
True but API was also avoiding potential repercussions from the team by bagging team mates. Deflection is a classic tool for that. He knows that if he sat in a presser and named names he would be cut off from the group. He didn’t make that many errors !

I can't believe some people where saying we didn't need luai next year because Galvin had 2 good games ! I can't wait for luai to arrive!
So far we've had Dud Sullivan, The Anti-Sezer, and recent convert to the Tigers style Lachlan Galvin. Latu Fainu please be good. At this rate Doueihi will get a run

Passed to Seyfarth on the last, missed 6 tackles Inc one at least that lead to a try.

I think

I think they are supposed to be professional athletes who are employed to play Rugby League at NRL standard and that includes giving 100% each and every time they wear the Tigers jersey.
Unfortunately there are a few who are letting the rest down in areas of discipline, effort and natural ability. Because of our weak roster these particular players are included in our best 20 and we have no suitable or available replacements.
My view is that our predicament is currently more about the players than the coaching.
For example if we have Sezer, Paps and Bateman today and we somehow swapped out just Naden and Staines - I believe we win today’s game.
The grind of a 27 week season means we get to see the squads play under every type of condition.
You play the cards you are dealt. Every side deals with it.
Broncs had some very good players missing and adapted. All teams except Parramatta played well despite being disadvantaged in some ways.
It’s up to the coaching staff to ensure our 17 each week are prepared to win.
