We play titans twice before end of season. They are the other main spoon contender. We've lost 1 each to parra and knights the other two spooners. Meanwhile galvin goes to the top of the table team and will play us in round 22. How about that? Penrith will beat us both times and be motivated to beat another spoon contender and also beat luai after all the rubbish talk of 'luai carrying penrith'. The biggest issue is titans can win an upset against a top side or anyone every now and then and score lots of points. They might concede 50 but they'll score 30. We will lose by 50+ and score barely anything, like the storm game. 5 and 4 after round 9... then Benji has one job. Don't get flogged by Storm. Don't get flogged by Storm. And it happens. Season turns from then on. Galvin noise grows louder, luai contract clause grows louder, and pressure grows on the whole club. In the next month we play cowboys, panthers, raiders and manly. Of those, I think cowboys taking us easy is the only possible win. Panthers will not lose to benji with their origin players back. Raiders are flying and unbeatable. Manly is in bad form but in a month's time they won't be the same especially at Brookie

I'll come back in a month when we lose another 4 in a row, and the season is exactly where it was at last year... when we were confident of not getting the spoon

Since our miserable sack of shits can’t do anything this year I find it hard not to cheer on the warriors or raiders

They have a lot of grit. They don’t have the spine to seriously challenge though.

I’m with you. I had a couple of funny reactions on here after my negativity 1st half during us v broncs. We will be lucky to win another game unless they pull a recruit out of their hat and our injured players come back firing.

It’s us newy and titans. I’m optimistic we can have a couple of good upsets!

What's to like about their fans?

Majority of them have very little understanding of the game, and probably couldn't name you more than 5 players from other clubs.

But yah, don't mind the underdog story.
