I thought he was a metre if not more in front and wasn’t to concerned thinking they’ll pull it back. It was a shocking decision she should be sacked lucky we won by 40 odd points, but that could have shifted momentum. I also thought the Joffa one was a try.

Yeah, then he went on to say we may make it to 9th. Great win and we should enjoy it. But and sadly we are a long way from having the leagues respect.

Brooks best games were when he was paired with Mbye.

Wakeham is proving to have the same kind of effect.

Brooks;
Paired with Adam or Jackson, was never going to benefit him. It may have benefited the team but for Brooks to succeed.... it appears he needs a more reserved player partnered with him.

Along with;
- coaches believing in him
- self belief
- being satisfied within himself
- being content with the team around him
- a good forward pack

I've been critical of Brooks.
But it looks like Sheens has it all figured out and is actually making it work.

... I'd like to see more performances like this from Brooks, consistently.

You have been one of Luke's biggest critics and unlike some others on this forum you have the courage to admit that you just may have been wrong and are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and judge him on future performances rather than condemn him for what has occurred in the past.👍

Congratulations on 200 NRL games Luke Brooks.

People need to remember that Brandon Wakeham was signed after the pre-season was over on a low cost contract and was not expected to see very much first grade, if any at all.

Similarly, Luke Brooks had a very limited pre-season due to injuries and had not played a game since last July meaning that no time was able to be spent developing a combination, obviously it takes time for these things to develop and hopefully this is the start of it.
 
Wow. Just finished watching the replay.
So many outstanding performances and observations.

Klemmers opening stint. Toa is now out of the box. Bateman. Brooks. Noffa is back. Jnr. Utai. Wakeham’s conversions and defence. Joffas passion even though he’s gone. Bulas first try. The seriousness in the coaching box when we were dominating. The depth in attack. The support play. The fact we were ruthless til the end. The record score.

Sheens has them playing for each other and tonight it clicked. Congrats to all involved.

PS: forgot to add Ennis’ positivity and support for the club.

Is that’s what’s happening? the whole thing is weird. His passion tonight shows he bleeds for his team mates and they bleed back. I thought parra must be blowing our contract out of the water and we aren’t standing in his way? Similar to Corey Thompson.

Wow I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed watching the Tigers play as much as i did today. It was my birthday as well. I am taking that game as a gift from the club in gratitude of my lifetime of support. What a great birthday I’ve had!!!
