He has to earn his spot. That might mean proving himself in the lower grades for the rest of the season or for another week. We don't know.

We shouldn't release him though. We signed him for two years to give him an opportunity but also for us to see if he can force his way into the top team.

I'm not sure if he is an edge backrower or a middle at this point.

Wests Tigers team line-up has been confirmed for Friday's Round 14 match against Canberra Raiders at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

I think Groat went off the rails when his brother passed away?? Memory could be fuzzy but something fairly substantial happened to him.

I’m not sure but didn’t Groat get flattened by Ben Teo and he missed a fair bit of footy because of the hit.
