LIVE GAME Round 15 v Titans

Live Game Discussion
It cant be good for ones health following this lot 😂😂

I thought we lacked game management. Had the wind in the first half and didnt use it to get good field position at all. Should have been putting in kicks on 3rd and going for 40/20s. The titans tried it once snd kicked it out on the full, but atleast they tried

It was sad to see Luai do that alot of us have stuck by him so to see him giving it to our fans was really sad to be honest. Sad that our fans have made him feel that way and sad that the positive fans see that aimed at them
One woman near us was relentless... giving it to him all game...then cheering her head off each of his tries...3/4s cut
Amusing to.say the least

Nah wasn't pathetic, the way they came back from 24-12 down was a great to see. It looked it was going to get away from them but the showed some grit.

Touched them up in the second half, what was the second half score?

And into the wind
We played awful footy. More luck than skill involved in most of our tries. Titans poor defence and unforced errors was the difference.

After last weeks game I said he should never be seen in a first grade side again.

Honestly one of our best tonight. Was cheering every run and tackle. Good both sides of the ball.

Let’s hope he produces that every week for the rest of the season.
He has it in him, the question is how do we get performances like that from him more regularly?

A win is a win, but can't deny that after 30 minutes with almost 70% possession we should have been in a better place. Not to mention that leaking 24 points, albeit in the modern game, is not a good look.
I have to agree.
- Defense round the middle was not good.
- Attack was disjointed. Hardly remember seeing any runners, let alone decoys, despite the many times Madden and Luai danced across to find any - which shows that set plays were few and far between.

Other thoughts:
- I thought Luai was standout in defense and was our best, even before he scored his tries.
- Bula setup that first half try with wonderful composure, but otherwise got shown up bigtime by his opposite number.
- Pole off the bench proved a positive and impactful change.
- I found it odd how late our dummy half (whoever was taking the role) often took to get to the play-the-ball, which doesn’t help build speed and momentum.
- That Seyfarth try-saver was bloody amazing. Superhero stuff.

Does anyone else worry that the MRC might charge Pat Herbert for his "fend" that left a Titan on the ground grabbing his throat? I really hope not!!

I'm surprised the Ref didn't refer it "upstairs" but I don't believe it was intentional and first contact was across the chest & the ball....however.....I didn't think Api did a "hip drop" yet that got him a 3 week holiday.
JWH did it his whole career and never got pulled up. But I think Herbert will cop something. Seyfarth will miss a couple of weeks for his hip drop at the end. We’ll struggle to field a team next week with KPP out and possibly Herbert and Seyfarth too on top of everyone already out today.

Seyfarth and Starford are the two that I cannot get a read on.

Both are players that have frustrated me so much that I’ve never wanted to see them in the jersey again. Today, I thought both of them were excellent, particularly with the physical sides of their game. Need to get a sports psychologist in so they can replicate everything they did this week.
