Agree on Gus. Good to hear Johns get uncomfortable when trying to critique the eels halves.

It's hard to watch the two Sironen's playing great footy for other clubs.

What a half back that "Tanker" is, he was all over the place, creating chances, great cut out passes for tries, earning drop outs, chip kicks and his defence had them rattled from the kick off.

Oh! yeah! it was a sad day when he left us, only because it wasn't two years earlier. Not worth a bean.

Really enjoyed the Parramatta "Crushers" getting thrashed, enjoyed "Sookie Boy" losing as well.

The only thing that spoilt the night was the "Scumbags" winning.

If only they both could have been thrashed.

Good idea, I would too except that the video quality of 9HD has really dropped recently. I’m pretty sure that have reduced the bit rate significantly. I see heaps of artifacts now with the Rugby League broadcast on 9HD. They just aren’t there on Foxtel.

Always good to see the Eels get smashed, just a shame it had to be by the ‘pride of the league’

It pains me to say this because I dislike Souths as a team and Bennett as a person, but it appears he has them primed at the right time of the year to give the comp a real shake, just like a good racehorse. Hopefully they won’t win the comp though, I don’t think I could stand another Rabbitohs premiership and all the media fawning that would go along with it, especially surrounding Bennett and Mitchell.

How satisfying. I feel so vindicated. I called it weeks ago that they were gone, barely scraping by sides like ours and the Bulldogs. But because they have been winning, it’s been papering over the cracks. Tonight they were finally exposed as the pretenders they are. And where is Mitch? He’s struggling big time seeing as how there are no slopes for him to ski down. No Origin for Mitchy.
