Live Game Discussion
Classic Tigers style performance from Blore. I've always liked Blore but this was a typical performance from him where he just doesn't seem to have the intensity of better players and he just seems weak in the tackle, despite not missing much.

Grant Anderson and Jack Howarth look like hard working outside backs.

Regardless, Melbourne sure know how to Ice a game with a minimum of fuss, Bellamy has it in-grained in their DNA.

7 runs 53 meters…..average numbers

Bellamy won't be happy with their defence over 70 conceded the last 3 games yet they still win!

Phins. Lost their way a little towards the end... Really need a general taking charge there seemed to be a lot of indecision in attack

Jack Howarth is normally an edge forward who can’t get a start in front of Blore.
Would like someone like him playing right edge for the Tigers next year.
But of cause that won’t be happening 😩

he supposed to not impede the defender when in front of the ball. I thought he deliberately took up a position in the defenders line. Fine if you dont agree but he certainly did not make an effort to get out of the way of the defender. Additionally, Faalogo has the option of straightening at any point. He chose to straighten after running past Hughes. I don't believe Faalogo was looking to use Hughes as an obstruction, however the more Storm players he ran behind of the greater the risk of one of those players obstructing a defender.
Hughes was clearly running back towards the ball, the defender 100% had no chance and because Hughes was in the line between him and the defender he chose to fall down. It's an irrelevant call in an irrelevant game but no way does this get called in the last 80 minutes in a.GF or origin.

Looks like hip drop tackles are no longer a sinbinning. 2 bad ones in the Titans Warriors game and just a penalty. Thought both were blatant binnings going off what we have copped

How can you pick a winner this year? The Warriors are appalling today

They really are. It's not the first time this year their defence has been like this.

Us clubs that have engrained failure built in just can't turn it around really. Warriors, Titans, Tigers. All show glimpses but all drop back to being soft.

Coach of the year last year - players definitely make or break coaches.

It seems the Tigers can't rely on the Titans losing to avoid the spoon. Pity the Warriors have already won six - they look like spoon contenders today.
