The only good thing about that is it will be the third big loss out of three for Noddy as coach. Like Noddy as a bloke but any talk of him being favourite for the head coaching role is totally nuts. Happy for him to take up an assistant role.

But we had to get rid of a coach who took on a disasterous job from the start,had his hands tied until Ivans overspending on low input players went, and then the start of this season had a horrific injury toll and a suspension to a key player...But he managed to recruit 2 of the top NRL players this year for us next year...
I understand its a results driven game,but how much better are we since Madge got the arse....no better and we were knocked back by a rookie wanna be coach that is still in training mode in a very good system...
Like I said before,there is a bigger problem in this club than just the coach...at least if Morris or Payton come here they will know exactly what their in for...and I dont care how much DNA these blokes have...if they cant get better results this joint is in for at least 4/5 more years of pain because the kids wont be ready for NRL within that time frame....

One of the clubs Paul Merlo played for was the Wests Magpies. Merlo in Italian means blackbird. So Paul played for the magpies who are a black (and white) bird. Interesting fact.

Asitasi James is another player I would like to see given a run in first grade.

He runs hard in KOE cup which is not done much by many others from the games I have watched.
