TEAM LIST Round 16 vs Raiders

Team List
For anyone worried about the bench- we have 3 Front Row-Able players playing #13, #12 & #11.

So you put Bird into the 2nd Row, Latu plays a little #13 & Seyfarth & Twal become rotational props.

I don't see the issue.

On that- I don't know if everyone has been watching Canberra, but it's not like they play an explosive forward game. Each of their forwards contributes roughly 80-120m a game, shared around. The bigger impact is wider through Hudson Young & Kris. They get significant impact wider, and don't give much away through the middle. Think Canterbury.

If we can keep the game in the middle of the field when they have the ball, our forwards might hold some advantage or at least hold their own.

Cutting off their outside men is a massive test. Doueihi has been showing the ability to read & shut down sweep attacks- we need that to continue. They are faster than us, by a long way. Kris, Savage & Weekes are lightning, and Hudson Young is quick for his size.

Luai vs Strange is key. Luai needs to shut his options down the way he was on Cleary. After that, Fogerty is a good kicker, but much less impact.

If the game gets played through the middle mostly- I like our chances.

Champion @Buttface - don't be so modest.

Make that: ..... "He signed my hat, the 1st time ever for a dedicated Wests Tigers fan, literally moments after his announcement that he had signed to join us." 😉
Thanks t_o, I get the eye roll when I tell that story around here, so I thought I’d keep my bragging brief. It’s never to old for my Tigers mates. 👍🏻

Their 5/8, centres and full back all very sharp. We really don’t have any blinding speed in our backs.

I think a very heavy track and game transferred from CSS our best chance.

Not going tomorrow so we might be a chance....been to 4 games this year yet to witness a V.

I think its Kris' 100th or something need to spoil the party...(plenty party poopers here)

Need pole twal and TDM to get us on the front foot
I'm tossing up whether to head out there..

But I live 10 mins from leichardt oval.. So it's a bit of a trek... And realistically it's probably going to be a loss, plus a few hundred to take the family out... I really want too.. but it is alot more comfortable being at home in this weather 😅😅

Good thinking, but worried that we will loose if it does get played down the middle.

Mainly because Melbourne wiped us out from the middle. Canberra do have strong men and if Ricky decides to send Papalii, Tapine and those big guys at us, it's only Terrell who can really make trouble for them.

Spread it out wide, then relies on Turuva and Skelton getting past Xavier and Canberra's wingers which isn't happening.

I wonder if Api can outstep them. Starling is a good hooker, but it will be tough.. Will Luai even play after Origin?

Great analysis mate...

Which way 10 minutes? Blackmore, or Birchy?
