No I think a coaching director type role would work. Leaving the day to day to someone like Morris but providing an input on strategy and recruitment as well as mentoring Morris.

No I think a coaching director type role would work. Leaving the day to day to someone like Morris but providing an input on strategy and recruitment as well as mentoring Morris.

Yeah, that I'm fine with. He's got an eye for talent and knows how to develop players so he will hopefully be a good help with recruitment and also getting the playing group going a bit more, just don't think he'd be ready for being a head coach. Having him around as an input for most things can't hurt at all

You sack the coach you back this group of players to be a top eight squad - assuming that's the reason the coach is being sacked. Not one rep player amongst them or one even being talked about - SOO need a new half - a nucleus of developing players, and fans at odds about who our best player is - in other words there is no definitive one. You either want a club rebuild and get the soft tag off our back, or you keep sending the message to players that like the money without the work and they will keep coming.
