Round 18 Discussion *Spoilers*

What was the deal with the Dragons winger on debut yesterday? Is he related to someone at Fox Sports, having to show us his family every 5 minutes like he’s the first young kid to ever debut in first grade?

Can't work out the animosity towards SBW - a really good player.

I don’t care that he’s back, I’m more over the hype around him. The need to give him his very own cameraman that to show us him sitting on the pine every 5 minutes. I’m only recently starting to notice that Fox are as bad as nine.

I can't see any team but Penrith, East and Melbourne contesting the Grand Final this year. Still believe Storm will win it beating Penrith in a tight Grand Final

That first sentence is a good reason why many people won't bother watching the GF. There are no winners there, grubby clubs one and all.
Go Raiders.

Who is showing animosity? He is beyond a really good player he is a freak of nature and one of the best athletes in existence.

Well there's a lot of people putting the boot in.

Because of the never ending gushing over SBW..

Last night he passed the ball the Rorters scored and it was the greatest pass in the history of Rugbeh League according to the commentators..

Oh to be a Roosters player/fan. Ist "try" last night gets sent up as no-try, replays show absolutely no evidence to overturn the on-field decision (if anything it made the decision clearer than at first glance that it wasn't grounded by Morris) yet Horsehead in the box takes 2 looks at it and gives it a try. Turned the game off at that moment.
Even the commentators were lost for words over it.
It's disgusting.
Change the rules to suit the narrative🤔

If they make it to the 8, bloody oath.
Not looking likely though, their F/A is much worse than Cronulla's.

Maybe people, recall the way he dogged his mates, club and the game with his midnight flit to Europe several years ago... Ran away like the dog he is

Yes ask Bulldogs fans how they feel about him. It’s a bit like us with Moses and Matterson.

And adding to that the way he has now waltzed back into the NRL to join the premier team after most of the season is done. He will no doubt take the place of some poor bloke, who has busted his gut for the Roosters all year, in the finals and will end up with all the accolades if they win the GF, but really he will have contributed bugger all to that team over the course of the season.

Is that because he questioned their winning streak when they were over the cap? If so, it’s a legitimate question.

That. And they seem to be with plenty of other NRL fans who think flogs like Cleary Jnr, Naden, Mansour etc need to be taken down a peg or two.
Ivan's question re: Bulldogs was a legitimate one yet Honest Iv himself doesn't seem too keen on answering legitimate questions about the gutless way he exited WT. What goes around comes around.

There’s no evidence to suggest they are as disliked as the Roosters and Storm. As I have told you before old mate, just because you don’t like a a player/team, doesn’t mean everyone does. What’s funny is, if they play the Storm in the gf, you’d wear an Ivan mask.

His whole resum`e is full of puffed-up stats that look great but once looked into a bit show themselves a bit clearer.
Commentators bung-on about him being an All Black legend, he walked into a team that had dominated everything, played a handful of games and never stood out in any of them from the plenty I saw. Rode on their coattails to a World Cup victory.
His boxing career was littered with mismatches against blokes that wouldn't win a scrap over a packet of bacon at Woolies let alone a pro boxing bout. The one bloke he did fight that had credentials ,Francois Botha, was coming back late in their fight and looked set to beat Williams yet at the end of the 8th round they announce to him that the fight is over because for some reason nobody told him the fight was only 8 rounds instead of the usual 10 (at Williams's request).
He's had great success at being a glory-hound but not surprisingly he's put plenty of people offside as a result.

Check out Bulldogs forum to see how loved the Panthers are, probably LU as well I'm guessing.
Truth be known despite your thoughts, if Storm were playing Penrith in the GF, as long as Cammy was on the sidelines with a broken leg I'd probably prefer Storm. If that vermin was out there I most probably just wouldn't bother to watch.
