Live Game Discussion
We haven't lost much with TDS going early. Hope did and excellent job and Charlie wasn't too bad in the abckup role either. Neither are outstanding but with an off season to buikd up again I think they could be great backups.

AD had some good touches but he really is KoE standard - too many silly errors and his general kicking game is below average. As a 5/8th he makes a great prop.

K&L Lualilii were out of their depth - but Luke also out of position - I think they are worth perservering with in cup to see if they can crack it as they get older.

We might see another centre combination next week - Toa was busted - not sure he will be able to recover in time for the Wahs.

A strike edge player to compliment Sam F and a good 13 we go from bog average to competitive.

One in a row and a depleted Wahs next week - we are a chance!

The intensity went out of our game when we started to play conservative footy, we needed to keep tearing into our work, while keeping the errors to a minimum. We just haven’t won enough recently (and have so many young blokes) to know how to close out games.
Yes and to some extent that was helped by the excellent Sam Fainu try. After that inspired play they virtually shut down.

💯. We’ll have to take a punt on May

I saw Doueihi's game differently. Showed a lot of leadership today. Thought his kicking was better than any of our other halves for the year, some nice passing e.g. for the Fainu try, defence was rock solid and his running was strong as ever. His goal kicking won us the day.

I don't think he is a front-line half anywhere in the NRL. He couldn't string 5 games like that together. He is a very serviceable back-up though.

This season he has been a lot more consistently good IMO.
Yeah that’s true, he seems to have put the ACL’s behind him now and his defence has improved. Still has his weak moments, but I wouldn’t mind keeping him since he is finally finding some form. Hard for us now that the dick head manager has entered the equation though.
