Yeah Canberra were in cruise control too and nearly got run over.

I feel ilke a conspiracy theorist but the reffing from Game 2 SOO last 2 years and the amount of comebacks this year- the refs are impacting the results. It looks quite blatant to me with any 50/50 calls.

To be fair, we've benefitted from that more than most like the Canberra game, Cowboys game and for 20 minutes the Rabbitohs game too.

A referee deciding the game it was good to see that it was decided in our favour this time.
Because I’m sure there are plenty on here that can let us know how many games the referee has cost us the game.
Unfortunately it’s part of the game.

I didnt notice it yesterday...dont think.the broadcasters memtioned it either

Adam has shown impressive speed this year once through a gap. He also attacks the line at speed forcing the defenders to make a rushed decision. His lateral movements are still wanting a bit and he needs to straighten his attack, but both are also on the improve. His defence has improved considerably....he is currently no.117th in the league for missed tackles with 7 team mates racking up more....thats rare air for him historically.
He also has decent ball skills and has a big boot. His goal kicking can be very good as well. He is a leader on the field and has stated many times how much he wants this club to succeed and be a part of it.
He is an great backup comparatively and at 26 has many years still in him.
Unless he gets offered huge money elsewhere, wed be stupid to let a guy this competent walk as well, when weve persisted for so long with him when he was struggling. He performances this year have been a contributer to our more competitive game.

I agree with you on this one Tuck,
I feel he can offer us a lot more variety than let’s say Naden and Staines as our back depth at a reasonable price.
We just need to find a Centre to cover the position he is filling this year.

I thought AD in the red sone wasn't too bad. My biggest criticism was his general kicking game. I doub't anywhere int he game plan it read - kick the ball straight to Teddy/Toupou so they can attack a staggered defensive line.

I assume that was tactical.

They kick to Tupou so he can't take the second-tackle hitup - I guess they wanted the junior winger Rodwell to take the next hitup, so they can work on him and disrupt the set. Tupou isn't super fast or evasive so I think there's less risk of a staggered line with him

But also I sat in the SE corner and Tigers' kick chase 2nd half was pretty good, pretty straight. We had good go-forward so Doueihi had plenty of time to kick.

I did observe Doueihi switched to kicking to Rodwell late in the 2nd half.

I think it was Sione's try. He definitley pushed the ref who got in his way. The ref didn't hit the deck - but it wasn't incidental. I don't think it was anything - just consistency inapplication of the rules.

I think he'd said he'd be happy if AD gets the nod against NZ. It wouldn't piss me off either.

AD is a damn good footy player he's just not a superstar match winning centre. I like him more in the halves especially balancing out a running game type partner.

AD is fighting for a contract somewhere, Luai will be backing up origin and jumping on a flight to NZ jumping from one camp to another. I think Luai will get picked, but competition can build form... Ahem... Team first???

I agree with one part, can’t argue that Romey has been at his best this year for us. But that’s the nature of stearing the good ship Wests Tigers. Ask a thousand blokes before him.

But - If Pole & May lay that same platform for Jarome against NZ, I’ve no doubt he plays a blinder. That was the best our pack have played by some margin.

Yes, Tedesco had clearly stated he didn't wantto take the kick so the clock should have counted down to the hooter. Since when has anyone else had an opportunity to change a decision tha they have very clearly made?

Seyfarth not playing as an edge forward made a big difference.

Both Seyfarth and Hunt are players that seem better coming off the bench.

I kinda wish we would play people that way, but we have had huge injuries.
