The Tigers could learn a thing or two from that mentality. They have the odd emotional win and think that's the job done.

We are not ruthless enough with a burning desire to win every time we take the field, we are just content with a participation award and causing an upset every now and then. That's just not good enough for fans.

If it's just a job to them and nothing more what's the point of following them any more? They've lost me.

The management up here aren't a shitshow who make irrational decisions like extending the worst coach in the comp, with no other interest from other clubs

It boggles my mind everytime Benji says he need to look at his preperation why none of the journos suggest thats why having 2 experienced assistant coaches is a good idea. They could tell him how to train and optimise his preperation. Instead of guessing every week.

Like that girl. She's a champion tennis player. The issue with us is we are an emotional team who are happy to lose pretty rather than win ugly as ricky stuart said last week vs dragons. We beat galvin when we want or following a 68-0 flogging, but not the rest of the season

I think it's clear the reason why we have our assistant coaches is because they are all we can get. Bit like our head coach.
They are all here because they have a fondness for the club and are willing to do the job.

I think this may be the case also.
Theyre probably paid peanuts compared to assistants elsewhere...reggies coach is part time for example.
Im sure they honestly love the club and winning a maiden comp together forms strong bonds...but it can become comfortable if you know theres no threat of someone else taking your job...and thats never good in any job

For all the talk of standards absolutely nothing has changed.

They are mentally soft and weak, they have zero footy IQ and cannot organise, implement and execute the most basic attacking or defensive structures.

They have all played the game since the age of 5 or there abouts but show zero game or situational awareness.

There is zero accountability from the board, to the coaching staff to the players. The whole club is one giant festering boil full of puss.

Benji saying it's on him isn't accountability, it's the soft option and gives cover for the players to take zero accountability.

Benji's team selections and not selections are becoming more bizarre every week. There is zero evidence of any game plan, offensive or defensive structures and game tactics. The use of the bench gets equally bizarre each week and shows a complete lack of situational game awareness and tactics.

The club is an absolute rabble......

Well I guess it’s always a possibility, but I can’t really see St George winning 5-6 of their remaining games, which is what it would take for us to get the spoon. Let’s face it, they have only beaten the worst 2 teams in the comp this year besides themselves. Second last though is a real possibility and imo would be just as bad. Going backwards from last season.
