Wakeham survives

Trade on, plan was for both players to not play this week and trade next week.
that was last week.

"While a deal is yet to be finalised, both Latu Fainu and Tommy Talau were rested from the lower grades this weekend in preparation for the likely swap."

Reilly has been by FAR the best attacking outside back in state cup...leads in tries and assists by a mile...

Talau...is useless...equally as bad defensively...been horribly out of form...AND he is leaving...

And Talau is in the squad / Reilly not.

Why even bother having a state cup team? Why even bother trying down there?

Laurie and Wakeham = we have officially hit rock bottom.

I have been an advocate of Wakeham...but his last two games have been appalling bad. He is literally only there as there is no one else.

If anyone saw Laurie in state cup at 6...he was poor and took multiple plays off. Chipped for himself deep in our half...lazy balls that went to ground...one decent play for every ten bad ones. He is also there as we literally have no one else.

Penrith have 6 halves that would all get a game for us. Hell, Jock Madden would have got a run if he was still with us.

Shocking roster management to have left the squad this poor in terms of halves depth. Has completely undone all the great work by the pack.

Laurie and Wakeham combo really is rock bottom.

They would honestly be around the 10th best combo... in STATE CUP this weekend.

If thats the truth,u wonder why he didnt get a start at 6 over Laurie??
Even the least astute NRL follower can realise our issue is creating oppotunities to score ,which apart from that blip against the Cowboys has been our major issue..which is why we let our long term 7 depart
If Reilly is doing just that in KOE then why not give him a crack over Laurie who offers very little in either attack or defence in KOE
And at worst we can fix his defence medium term
Worth a shot over Laurie
No wonder were last..
