Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has named a 22-man squad for Friday’s Round 19 match against the Sharks at PointsBet Stadium.

There are a couple of changes to the side following last weekend’s loss to the Storm.

Alex Lobb has been named on the wing for his first NRL game since Round 14, with Solomona Faataape shifting to the centres to replace Justin Olam (knee).

Reuben Porter has been added to the bench after playing NSW Cup last weekend with Starford To’a named in the extended squad after recovering from a serious hamstring injury.

Fonua Pole will make his 50th NRL appearance.

Hopefully we find a way to get Mason on the field at the end of the first half, perhaps at lock and making runs out of dummy half. He's obviously been underutilised lately.

While I agree with everyone that Klemmer is slow and past it, our opening 20 minutes with that combination against the Storm looked physically imposing and team looked good. I can understand starting with that, but perhaps get Klemmer off earlier.

Benji went to the Tim Sheens school of running a bench … our team gets gassed and we leave one guy on the bench until the last 10 minutes .. and then he only got a go because of Olam’s gimpy knee….

I want to see if Mason has something .. seems to have a high motor … if they are going to have him on the bench then get him more involved ..
