It's the grudge match again. Can the boys get up and win against the doggies tonight?
It's also Women in League round, which always sounds nice, with a new jersey (I couldn't see one this year) and videos thanking the women in their lives. However, in Australia, we have a huge problem of violence against women, and the statistics show that DV increases during and after major sporting events. With 37 women and 17 children murdered in domestic violence incidents already this year, we all need to do better. We all need to say something, and do something, when we see DV. Maybe it's calling out your mate for the sexist joke, or following up with that quiet little kid who says sorry all the time. Be aware, and be a safe place ❤️
