LIVE GAME Round 20 v Titans

Live Game Discussion
Both of those grounds have atmosphere and it is something that is impossible to beat but as much as i love Leichhardt it is not the ground for us moving forward as it will always be too small in capacity for supporters.
If only we could lay our hands on some more space for its expansion. Mind you, I wonder what a clever architect, willing council and NRL and the funds given to Parra / Penrith for their stadiums could do with the existing space.

Maybe Benji might finally wake up
Last 2 games he left Sukkar on for 80 mins for very few meters
This time he is taken off after 30 mins where he had 1 run for 7 m !
This is so unproductive he's not a 1st grader
Also Jack Bird big minutes but 5 runs total 27 m
These 2 just don't put in ! So don't bloody pick them .Bird also made to look silly by AJ Brimson .
Why you took our best player previous 3 weeks( that is Douehi ) off for 21 mins
Benji stop patrolling the sideline and stop constantly switching players from position to position .
The team look confused and our attack just doesn't click
Pick only Quality 1st graders and play them in the position they are most experienced at !
The Taylan / Skelton combo works well and the Toa / Turuva one used to so if Bula back restore that one too !
I'm thinking Douehi was at his best in the half's so pair Luai / Douehi and make
Latu Fainu the multi talented NO 14 covering for positions 3,4 ,6,7, and 9
Combine this with Bula chiming in and LEAVE THEM THERE !
You might find a cure for " CLUNKY ITIS "
In person it looked like Doueihi was completely gased, hence why they would have to take him off.

I would love him to work out as a lock but he is not our long terms halves option so feels a little silly to play the end of a dead season with him in the halves.

When you look at Rugby union and Rugbly league data across the world (there is a company that does this) you find clear irrefutable evidence that continuity in halves and their key partners is hugely linked to win rates.

All of you thinking we can have a new halves pairing, playing with a new distributing lock, with a new centre and an almost new full back and yet look smooth as a team should consider the data. Unfortunately for us, that’s just not how the vast vast vast majority of halves + key role pairings work.

Tiges desperately need as little change as possible from here

First day out at Leichhardt for me this year. Taylan May is simply better than our entire backline as an athlete. Well balanced, powerful and fast. Luai, Turuva, May x2, Skelton were good today. Douihei goal kicking and FG the difference.
Just saw the Panthers boys on the Matty johns show call him one of the greatest athletes they've ever seen, talking. Ano

And next week Bula is back isn't he? Mixing it up again for us . 🤦‍♂️

Not if we play like today cox no one will go back to watch that s..t.

Take the win, but We are the worst coached team in the nrl. It’s the back end of the year and the players still have no idea what’s going on . He cannot be our coach next year.
Im being serious when I ask what part is coaching?

Alot of the errors today were individual ones, not team ones... The exception being us going for a short drop out with the wind and not setting up for field goal earlier - before getting incredibly lucky

I think the issue is we have too many "half chiefs" in Douhei, Luai, Latu and Api.. we don't have a commander in chief, like a Nathan Cleary, directing us around... Taking control.. I think if we get that riGht, it goes a long way to improving our cohesion.

Only positives from today Taylan May he was immense as was Terrell.
Doueihi coming up clutch i don't know who else would have slotted the FG.

As for the rest it was dire Staines wft was up with him, infact that whole right edge Bird,Toa and Staines were strolled through at will. Api was way off it virus affected perhaps?
Luai isn't Batman not by a long shot, not yet anyway. But that might be more to do with coaching, Benji isn't it he needs to swallow his pride and be an assistant for a good few years. We won't improve anymore under him, he may escape the spoon but only by a whisker.
