No, not at allDid anyone else think that last Canberra try was a double movement?
You know what though, I remember so clearly supporting the old Balmain sides of the late 90s and they often tried so hard every week. Usually they just didn't have the quality, but you could see them fight, guys like Senter, Buckets, Stimson, Benny G, Shane Walker, Jason Lowrie.
It's not that there weren't the odd 40-point losses but often oppositions had WAY better rosters and I could at least admire a good amount of fight from the Tigers, especially at home. We had basically zero strike power; anything positive was all effort.
This 2026 side doesn't have that excuse. There are some kids but the talent and athletic ability in the roster is much higher than those old Balmain teams. Yeah you get bad decisions but the test of character is defending the bad calls, not dropping your head.
I can respect the fight when you don't have so much ability, but I cannot respect the lack of fight when there is so much ability in this side. We saw it only a few months ago beating these same sides quite well.
He dogged the teamHes our best ..and apart from api, weve got absolutely nothing
Yep physically he looked at home, but play wise, nowhere near ready.Javon Andrews is not ready
We will get the spoon if he and Fainu play in the halves next year
Luai was as bad as he ever has been today and that is saying a lot.Benji 100% dropped the wrong player.
Im over Douhie, which was poor form in anyones opinionI can't. Play where the coach puts you.
It's the mentality of player-first that gets us in trouble all these seasons. And I'm not to say that Doueihi doesn't try hard, because he does, but he is not immune to the lack of output.
They did run through the whole rest of the team before they got to BulaClear knock on.
But take nothing away from how genuinely sh!t Bula was right there.
Yeah bloody oath. I’ve been saying it the whole time he has been here.I don't think anyone liked Luai
Then we did because he spoke a big game.
Then he showed us again who he really is.
Now we all dislike him again and remember why we did in the first place.
3 good games in a Tigers jersey.
He is on the list with Matt Ballin, Adam Blair and Braith Anasta.
Yep, he has proven to be a dud.Luai was as bad as he ever has been today and that is saying a lot.
And the reson for that is we pay way to much for mediocrityKids alright on a cup deal, learning his trade.
It's the same thing, every year though.
We find ourselves saying, we simply don't have the cattle.
Repeating the mistakes of years past.
It's infuriating.
With the cashola he’s getting I’m sure he reckons his best days are in front of him.Yep, he has proven to be a dud.
His best days are behind him.
May is an embarrassmentAnd the reson for that is e pay way to much for mediocrity
U think Bula and May were almost $million players today??
Makes your post even more senselessThought I said our forwards were dreadful
Gee that’s the spirit?!?Aah man bad luck...some touch n go calls too today
I found them both incredibly disappointing today and for a few weeks now.And the reson for that is e pay way to much for mediocrity
U think Bula and May were almost $million players today??
We are the first side in the comp, by a long way!
