Team List: NRL Round 21 vs Warriors

Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall has named a 22-man squad for Friday’s Round 21 match against the Warriors in Auckland.

There are a few changes to the side that lost to Rabbitohs last weekend, including the return of captain Api Koroisau.

Koroisau slots straight back into the No.9 jersey after recovering from a calf strain, with Tallyn Da Silva named on the bench.

Isaiah Papali’i will play his first game since suffering an ankle injury in Round 12. He’s been named at lock for his 150th NRL appearance with Fonua Pole moving to the front row to replace David Klemmer (ankle).

The other change in the forwards sees Reuben Porter replacing John Bateman in the second row.

Starford To’a will play his first NRL game since Round 10 after returning from a hamstring injury through the NSW Cup. To’a replaces Adam Doueihi (load management) in the centres.

Alex Seyfarth has been added to the bench after being rested last weekend (HIA protocol).

Well, that explains 24 minutes from Klemmer last week.

Doueihi getting scheduled time off the field is pretty smart & responsible from the club.
It makes you wonder given Klemmer, Bateman & Doeuihi were all very poor last week & Benji called out experienced players in the presser, whether 'being managed' is spin and this is a message to sort your shit out.

Disgraceful treatment of Sullivan and Naden.
I understand he wants to offload them, but not listing them in our top 22 when their recent form clearly shows they clearly deserve it is very poor form from Benji.
When he wants to play favourites it is no wonder we are sitting in 17th place.

He has to treat them all the same.
Luke Laulilii does not deserve another shot after stinking up reserve and first grade.
He must be on his very last chance.

He will get plenty of chances no matter how poorly he plays.
Benji has his favourites and he is one of them.
