One or two more X factor players in the halves and three quarters, Bula still has a lot to Learn, Api is the player that leads from the front and can inspire his team mates but for whatever reason many don't seem to have it in them

I'm wondering if the Blore shoulder charge immediate reaction where Blore just stood there as if nothing happened, and the Souths player reeled out of it... I wonder if that has a subconscious reaction to the VR. Moments later we could see it had rattled him a bit... I think that prevented us from using the 18th man and it did play a significant role in the game

He didn’t take a backward step, ran the ball with a bit of purpose and defended strongly.
Klemmer was way off the pace. He’s supposed to be our team enforcer, but it appeared after getting hit hard when retuning the kick offs, he went into his shell and done everything half hearted.

Imo Klemmer these days is more a plodding Sharon Woods than a true enforcer we need like JWH.

Sheens expressed frustration about our left side making breaks and then taking wrong option . I remember Tupou totally bombing try and a number of high kicks put in that didn't amount to anything .
I remember Nofo on the right putting Toa into a long line break that ended in a kick that was almost a try .On that play I just thought very good cover defence by Souths
He says the recruitment and Roster building is ongoing but apart from a couple of promising teenagers haven't seen anything yet .
What struck me vs Souths and vs most teams was SIZE
The opposition always seem bigger and stronger

James has size and a lot of it and if he can develop some ball playing skills he could be OK

Actually when I think about it we were outnumbered Nofo vs 3 of them and one was closer

Raiders play like us. They have limited attacking focus & structure, rely heavily on individual making something happen.

In saying that we have won 3 games all year so I have little confidence atm in us not hitting a 10game losing streak for the 2nd time this season and become the 1st in NRL history to do that.

Klem was great early in the season. They were even talking about him as an Origin option. He's an older guy and he needs more bench time to make it through the year, which means we need another enforcer prop aside from Klem and Stef.

He got shoulder charged twice in those tackles. That takes a bit out of a player. Those tackles should have been two penalties to WT and at least a sin bin for Koloamatungi. Games a joke.

Did anyone read Roy Masters article about the lack of support by the NRL in relation to country rugby league, and compared to AFL
Who are spending money freely on juniors.
He spoke of the support in Tamworth for the Tigers/Rabbits game but I was absolutely amazed that the West Tamworth Entertsinment Group ( ie Wests Tamworth Leagues Club) paid us $270,000 to put the game on up there. They made a small profit but it was a massive expense, although they did say that if it was a South’s home game it would have been an even higher figure.
Someone always has to pay the bill and it’s obviously not the NRL.
