When I sat and watch the best game this year Storm vs Roosters which had everything including a 80 minute thriller (I love being engaged and watching a true contest) then I lamented that WT are not even in the same ball park of both those sides.

12 seasons of no semi finals and 2023 does not look much better at this point in time.

12 seasons of no semi finals and 2023 does not look much better at this point in time.

It doesn't look any better and it looks like we need to make some tough decisions on the roster. It's a joke how far we are behind.

Hopefully the kid debuting today is a gun. I can only see us improving via quality juniors coming through.

We are a long way behind but next year I'm optimistic.
Put it this way. If we had Papa and Api playing at their best this year, I doubt we would be at the bottom. Also players rally around good players.
Look at Hastings impact.
I think if we can cover our loses with a couple of astute buys then we will go alright. It's not all doom and gloom....YET.

Gildart is a waste of time and effort,even in ESL he was a poor defender and the fact he was an international just shows the poor standard of the game in the UK

Yeh I get that. We would have beaten saints with Api, Papa and JH. Throw in a fit and firing Stefano. I'll stand by this.
There were at least three games this year that we could have won with those players. Sometimes to get a boat moving, all you need is two oars.
