LIVE GAME Round 24 vs. Rabbitohs

Live Game Discussion
Convinced now Galvin will be a star and with the " new kids on the block " look like making next year promising

He had a good first half but was invisible in the second when we needed to consolidate our good run with the refs, good completion rate and good field position. Bit disappointed with his second 40.

I’m warming to her, she gave us a fair shake tonight, something we’ve been lacking. Who knows, she might get the Leichhardt game, that would be 3 in a row 🤣😋
She gave us the first four and then them the next 3 to even things up, (I stopped counting at that point). She was no worse or better than any other inept ref, except she got the call correct when it mattered most.

There were some things that cost us, but there was plenty of scramble and effort (apart from Adam) from the side, with the effort of 18yo Luke Laulilii to hold up their winger over the try line winning the match for us in the end.
IMHO, diamonds and rust. That positioning was very bad (nearly Nofoaluma bad). He gave that winger 2m space for the break!

His missed tackle on Cook was just plan soft
Ok with the ball in hand ....looks very shaky under the high ball
That take that Staines took should of been Masons ball

Both the youngsters in the back three got in position to stop Cook, yet they failed. Each will learn from it, but at least the effort was there.

Any fullback who let's 4 kicks bounce is not NRL standard. Not even Flegg standard fullback play tonight. He did a couple if decent things, and I like that he's busy, but he has to catch every ball that comes near him on the full. He could have caught these balls, instead he stood still and just watched them bounce next to him. Every time the ball bounced it took us 5+ mins to recover.

He shouldn't have been thrown in the deep end. He needs time to develop his skills and size, nothing wrongly with that for a 19 year old, it's normal, he should be doing this out of the limelight. If he's in first grade he's up for the criticism that comes with being a first grader

I also thought he could have attacked the dropout where it went over Api's head and South got it back. He is very hesitant ti attack the ball in the air.

He's sharp though. I agree that he needs time in NSW cup, maybe 2 years there.

A win is a win.. and I'm happy we won, however if that pass wasn't ruled forward we would have lost... we still didn't play for the full 80, we need to learn how to tackle...

I think we need to revert to Pole starting and Seyfarth off the bench. I think that’s a better mix.
I'm just glad we have moved on from the dreaded 4 - as in 4 wins for the season, like the last 2 years. Hopefully another one this year and we don't get the spoon.

I respect that comment a lot more than "he should be hooked he was atrocious" because that's far from the truth. Thanks for clarifying and I agree with the above.

No... He's not a 1st grader.. Yet
He's a young developing player that deserves some slack

Calling his performance atrocious is pretty poor
