What about the opening kick off ..where Souths did a short kick and our blokes werent ready for it and Souffs get the ball and put them under the pump straight away opening minute

Also the short drop out that Mason let bounce and Souths recovered and went tearing down the field ..

They did two attacking kicks close to the line early in the second half …apparently with Seyfarth as the intended target …Im not the guys biggest fan… but I think anyone would question that he is the guy you want leaping into the air to try to catch a ball above normal head height …

I know there are young players in this team (some.. not all) but so often we see dumb little things like these that can turn a game ,,, Would love to know what they do at training all season year after year … do they practice defending kickoffs and drop outs? Certainly doesn’t appear the case …

What I don’t get is how can they not be ready for it? It is literally an option for every single kickoff.

They’re just so used to not winning that I reckon they freeze up when they are close enough to touch it. Lack of belief . That only gets fixed by winning a few of these ugly games.

That's the little things that drive me crazy with this team. The attention to detail just isn't there. If that try got disallowed because he simply didn't ground the ball with no one near him it would have destroyed us.

Later Doeuhi kicks for touch metres in front of the mark, gets pulled back then does the exact same thing AGAIN. There was every chance Sharpe gives the ball back to Souths then. She clearly says kick it on the line, and Doeuhi goes 2 metres past it the second time.

Seyfarth gets penalised late in the game for a head high, now it wasn't worth a penalty, but he had ample time and room to get lower, so run the risk?

These little brain dead things kill me. We invite the officials to screw us over when it's imply isn't necessary.

That being said, the guy who started this rant Staines, I thought had a great game. If we had 17 guys show his commitment we wouldn't be last.

Now let me see, that would be his 3rd suspension and about 9 weeks on the side line through suspension this season.

Gould said he couldn’t believe no one ref or bunker said anything about the tackle it was the longest one he has seen.

I was in the Western Grandstand bang in line with Wighton's apparent forward pass which started the break that almost cost us the game. Everyone was outraged it was let go. Not sure how it looked on tv, but definitely looked forward from my point of view.

Just relieved she called Murray for one finally after he threw a few dubious ones throughout the game.

Looked like it was NFL season on TV.

All our young players played unreal.

We beat our previous win record of the last 2 seasons

We have 1 of the best half’s in the game comming

We have 1 of the best young half’s in the game already here

The boys found a reason to turn up and defend properly. This is good man management from benji

He’s either past this level of football - or one of the dumbest getting around….
He’s lucky he didn’t get sent - again….

Like the 2 forward passes , the double Knock on line break that everyone stopped for , that led to that try .
to have the courage to call that forward pass at the end show her quality.
THE BIGGEST ISSUE …. is they put absolute “eyes painted on, borderline corrupt , complete lack Of feel for the game , refereeing to KPIs” morons like Klein in the bunker .
She’s a good one IMO ! Her style is clearly to let the teams play , and sort out the winner themselves . All the head high stuff is the bunker in her ear . I could almost gurrantee. It’s why there’s a 1-2 sec delay after the incident to her calling a penalty .
I can only assume , that the bunker ref must have KPIs around missed incidents , and err towards caution to protect themselves . It’s the only real thing that makes sense on the absolute shit show that they are .

Yep and look at how many go on report compared with how many are charged.

The head high penalties in this game were pathetic. I think we had 3 penalised that simply weren't worthy. Not sure if they had one or not, too biased to remember.

Sharpe isn't a great ref but who is? There is not one good ref in the comp and you have to ask the question as to why that is? I have an opinion on why, but I doubt the NRL would see it my way.

Sharpe is 10 times the ref Badger is and I hope she makes a good go of it and shows some incompetent men up.
