Yeah that was incredibly embarrassing. They clearly said it was for the midair tackle. That Doogie Howser didn’t see it as referee was just as embarrassing.

So many chances to challenge but with this ref and the bunker having i believe been told, why bother. Abbdo is there with thier trophy. I am a Wests Tiger maybe with my sunnys on but this is the biggest rort i have ever seen in NRL. We have missed 13 tackles all game and been reffed out of this game.

He also said it is a great Sunday afternoon in the first half so even the days of week are a challenge. He continued to call the wrong players out on both sides Fonua Pole reaching out to ground the ball short in the first half was called Sione Fainu a few times.

RL commentators on Fox and Nine are garbage. Agree that with a decent bench we would have won that today but Sukkar, Mason, Hunt and Murray would struggle to be in the 17 Penrith rolled out on Thursday.

They had 15 more sets, got more penalties, 6 agains, dominated possession and i felt the Tigers played well. Could of easily been tigers of old and had a cricket score against them.

Dan Ginnane was pissing me off. It's like he'd been hired by the Raiders.

Good effort against a good team. Just needs some polish. If Douehi was playing, we would have finished sets better and put on more pressure.

I was surprised to see Luai doing more kicking at the start of 2nd half, with the wonderful bombs Latu put up in the first half. Luai just isn’t getting high enough. I assume by instruction from coach? Just thought it was a wasted opportunity.

- Douiehi would have made more of the wind with his kicking game.
- Romey played well but needed to close out our sets better.
- Latu developing well but I still think he tires toward the end of games.
- Bula looked dangerous and that disruptor penalty was soft (if he touches it and knocks it on, it’s no longer a disruptor? But he misses it and it is?).
- Forwards were good today. Held the middle against the minor premiers

Well said. Before all the doomsayers tell us how crap we are. How bout they look at the way the game was reffed. No one could've built momentum let alone get o a run.

A few posters on here have been saying we pretty much have a top 8 side for 2026 with KPP coming. Today was a real litmus test for us I think and we came a creditable second. I reckon we need three quality first graders to come in for us to compete for the 8 next year. If we have Sukkar, Twal or Seyfarth in a full strength starting 17 next year, we are bottom 8 again.
