JWH has form the suspension is probably more to do with his reappearances. If they are out this week he misses the first 6 rounds next year. He is a liability more than an enforcer at this point in his career.
 
How the hell Corey Horsburgh gets suspended for that so called shoulder charge defies logic and as far as JWH goes he probably deserves what he got for trying to take Api's head off, but the extra 3 weeks for striking for the softest head butt in the history of rugby league is an absolute joke.

The match revue committee and the judiciary are just as big a joke as officiating in the NRL generally is at the moment.

Have no particular reason to go in to bat for either of these players other than believing that the suspensions they received were over the top.

On a positive note, good on Stefano for getting under JWH's skin to the point where he couldn't resist lashing out and giving him a love tap.

Yes, the true headbutters like Mal Reilly, George Piggins, Cliff Watson, Steve Bowden etc would be chuckling in their weeties this morning.

Agree that JWH's reputation precedes him, but let's be fair and have a bit of consistency, if that is the way they are going to roll then how does Latrine get only one week with his grubby history.

Not defending the judiciary but can't possibly defend JWH who took aim and missed at a player who has just returned from copping a broken jaw from another enforcer who was also made excuses for. There was no need for JWH to carry through with that play but he chose to - no sympathy for him or his club.

Happy for him to cop the 4 weeks for trying to take Api's head off, but 3 weeks for giving Stef a peck on the cheek.

Really? Fine would suffice for that.

Horsburgh totally ripped off and way too lenient on that grub Mitchell.

Mate these are big blokes trying to tackle a deceptive guy who is 5 foot tall.
He should have got a penalty for the late shot that was a touch high…the headbutt striking charge is embarrassing for the code. 3 weeks.

The charge and penalty given to Horse is shameful.
Lindner is a cockhead for enforcing this crap.

Low percentage play by JWH that has scope to go wrong and impact on the bloke at the end of it. Not like Api was trying to score and he got stepped, he went after him trying to be a tough guy. He has got nothing to prove - we know he trades on being the enforcer. The game has to protect the smart little guys there is is too few of them.

I’m not absolving him. It was high and late. 3 weeks.
7 weeks is disgraceful.

Yes, but if you rub out guys like him, the game suffers.
I personally love seeing big bulls going at each other.
It’s something you don’t get in any other sport on the planet.
Their coaches have to control them better.
