I’m a fan of Jock don’t get me wrong but he is a back-up halfback. If he is our 1st choice hb next season, we are settling for minimal improvement.

Yes we look good when he digs deep into the line & releases Latu or Bula but his attacking kick game, running game & defence is not NRL top 8 standard. Sorry the truth.

Madden is great value & provides value but we need a better similar style half, maybe why we have been linked to O’Sullivan.

Also not sure if anyone’s brought it up but 2 years in a row we’ve played the team which has then received the minor premiership trophy after the game.

Absolutely, If Javon is up to playing half next season and hopefully he will that is going to be very exciting. Both genuine talents.Madden is not the answer as a regular half.

If we do recruit another 7 for next year I’d rather TMM over O’Sullivan

Well that's another season done for us how quickly they go, have to say we were behind the eight ball straight away giving the Riff all that possession with a run of penalties.

Second half much better Latu some nice glimpses into the future and solid debut from Vaka, big lump of a lad playing decent minutes look forward to seeing more next season.

Lot on here writing off next season, key is staying healthy for me, there's enough talent to improve.

The players played with more energy and intent once Luai was taken off…a statement in itself…He derailed our season no doubt….everyone in the club knows it too…so does he

I thought the boys tried hard today for the full 80. Effort was certainly there. Execution is still short of a top 8 side but the footy they played would have beaten a lot of teams.
We do lack speed and X factor which many of the teams ahead of us have. Our edges and outside backs are off the pace in A and D and make poor defensive decisions way too often. Again today we saw our weakest links and positions prove costly. May and Averillo will hopefully help, as Herbert and Sol are simply not up for it.
Skelton needs coaching in D to be a good NRL winger.

We played a much more uptempo game and had Panthers scrambling often in the second half. So as much as the final score got away - we left a few tries out there and some poor D allowed a few that probably shouldn’t have been. In the end with our first choice players we may not have been that far off.
