This year is only an improvement if we get much better again next year. Hopefully the last three weeks was a bit of fatigue and not the actual standard.
 
In points in the second half in the past two games. That’s just poor, letting try’s in on the first 20minutes of the second half just shows bunji can’t motivate his team.
 
We let the team coming dead last beat us 24-0 in final 40 mins of the season
We have dreadful results in last round every year
Last year got thrashed in spoonbowl
2021 lost to the wooden spooner 38-0
This year no idea how to protect your lead
2 weeks ago up 28-16 Cows score 18 pts in 6 mins
Today up 28-12 Titans score 24 unanswered pts in 2nd half
Benji get rid of your deadwood !

I’m sick it.
I don’t care about their muscles and tattoos and personalities and occassional flare. They all look like Tarzan and are hugely skilled, but never play anywhere near consistently enough to make a real difference.
Every team needs some tough as shit hard working white boys in there from rural competitions. Psychos who have spent their lives battling against these genetically gifted guys and thriving in battle.
They don’t let you down and you can depend on their output every week.

Spot on mate. Players like Liam Martin and Yeo are like gold. We need those types of players and not blokes who look good with a gale-like following wind.

There’s been a couple games where we’ve held out hands up this year,
I feel we’ve only really won, when the other teams have been very poor.
Even bottom dwelling teams have been absolute garbage and they’ve still beaten us - and it’s happened more than once this year.

We’re trading on a false economy - I didn’t see us ‘build’ anything this season.
Taylan May is about the best thing to happen to us. And he’s still not signed.

There’s plenty of positives in my opinion. Our backs are now NRL class and our pack is young. We lack hard men who opponents fear. Remains to be seen if it’s coachable or we just need to rebuild the pack. Trust Richo is well aware of this.

I said it the other week tucker look at the top teams, they have their mix of country hard nutcases, Canberra have Hudson young Horsbourgh, Penrith have Martin, Yeo, Sorenson chooks have Radley ,Collins , Crichton, our coach wants to load our forward pack with soft Polynesians
 
They played like a chicken running around without a head. Coaching? Leadership? Strategy? Every year, the last round is a bummer. It would be nice to finish a season on a high.

At least Dogs are getting pumped so far. That takes a bit of the pain away.

Don't really want to get into this but I will say they have been shit for years with players from all kinds of backgrounds.

There is something rotten at the club, and its got nothing to do with race.

Anyway, at least the Dogs are losing.
