I think the last month or so he's been really impressive on both sides of the ball. averages over 10 metres a carry and has barely missed a tackle. I don't have particularly high hopes for him but he won't let anyone down.

In some good news… Balmain junior Tony Sukkar will make his NRL debut

Plan must be to play Api for 80 mins. If Api does need to be replaced, I would say Latu to hooker and a re-shuffle in the backline with Samuela pushing out to centres. Unless we try Sione Fainu at dummyhalf???

Selections have been strange this year - Miller picked ahead of Johannssen despite Tim outperforming Miller in NSW Cup, and then dropped a couple of weeks later.

Porter has always been picked ahead of Sukkar and form dictated that, but now it seems Porter is overlooked.

Perplexing.

I see the merit in giving Sukkar his shot. But Johannssen was sublime on debut and deserved to hold his spot. Honestly don't understand why he wasn't given another crack this year.
