LIVE GAME Round 3 versus Souths

Was going to go but had to bail as I probably wouldn’t get home until 1am

I’ll be there for the Easter Monday & Knights game at Campbelltown though.

I think we should be a good shot at winning this but I'm nervous. It is the classic scenario where, in the past, we have fallen in a heap. Lots of people were impressed with the Tigers last week. 44-16, that's a big score line against a talented opposition. Souths are depleted. There's been lots of noise about Wests being tougher, fitter and more resilient. All of this has set the Tigers up for failure in the past. As Benji, said in one of the pre season videos, there's been enough of the 'crap' and it's time for change. Ok, today's the day to prove it's the new Tigers and go out and win to make it 2 out of 2.
 
Hate this club with a passion. However, if they fire they will do us. Have a better backline and their pack is tough. We need to tackle well and have a very strong kick and chase game. We can score points but need to stop that left side of souffs.
 
Not expecting a win but you never really know with the tigers. They have a couple of outs including Graham and Aitken, so thats a positive

A good performance is expected though

Their starting pack looks strong.
bench, looks a bit weak.
The backrower battle will be interesting. Big chance for KPP and Samuela to carry form over from last week.
 
we just need to stop fifita in attack, run plenty at him in defence
As for Latrell well we can't really stop him just hope for the best, him and Crichton are gun centres.
As for Cody, we need to go the knuckle get him all fired up and niggle at him all game until he has a brain explosion and either gets 10 in the bin or lose the plot

Our backline is really a junior one
Turuva very experienced but a lightweight little guy
Skelton a winger now playing center
Makasini an 18 yr old winger / fullback playing center
Lauliilli a 19 yr old winger who's defence is a little suss
Hope they go well against Latrell and Wighton and AJ
On paper looks a little bit of a mismatch !

Where the hell is Toa ?
On the plus side I'd back our half's combination against souths

It comes down to AD and Luai kicking deep to the corners pinning them down kicking extra important tonight
