LIVE GAME Round 3 versus Souths

Live Game Discussion
Luai and Doueihi have no idea in the red zone! Can not manage an attack.
Luai steps back into the middle and gives it to a forward----who charges at the line. Wasted tackle.
The backline are almost shaking hands with the defence, no depth whatsoever. Frustrating.
Yeah, it’s rare to see Luai throw a good ball, cutout, double pump or draw players in to create an overlap

He has lots going for him but I worry about his passing game….too harsh?

The halves certainly didn't cover themselves in glory the other night, but I think our glacial play the ball speed had as much to do with our shoddy attack as anything. We were just so slow playing the ball in the red zone that the Bunnies defence was constantly able to get itself set and absorb whatever we were throwing at it. The few times we did get a quick play the ball away we'd catch them retreating and make a break or pinch some metres. If we improve in this area, we'll improve on the scoreboard.

I don't have to watch replays of Hodgo, I remember how good he was for his size, the infuriating thing is he would be trying to get through to Bula the importance of backing up.

So, what's the go, is he deaf/thick or is he distracted by the potential club move to a risky greener pasture, it's messing with his head and giving us the shits.
Couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s the million dollar question

Not as bad as the AD rubbish at times especially for whatever reason when he runs to the right, turns his back to the defender then pass from his left side to the right like it’s under 8’s.

Passing is one aspect but a half needs to setup his edge to be able to use them - Luai appears to do that where as AD doesn’t.

Yes, hopefully he can improve, its only been two games. Also, I might expect too much from Luai, however in a game like the one we saw on Saturday, I was really hoping, maybe expecting that he would 'ice' it for us, considering his standing.

Just frustrated with the result, like all of us, I suppose
