Well he is fully acclimatised to Australia now but a hot weekend for an Englishman, good luck to him

I think we have the advantage in the forwards BUT can our backs compete as an organized mistake free unit is the question because there is nothing worse for the forwards to see is their backs showing nothing for all their hard work as we have seen in our first two games

I'd like to see Wakeham in at 7 and Brooks / Doueihi to the bench. Give him a full match to see the difference in performance between Wakeham & Brooks and whether the team performs better as a unit with cohesion and planning- but I doubt that will happen as way too much invested with Brooks. Similar misgivings with Nofo retaining his place.

If the halves can fire and get the link between forwards (who are doing their job) and the backs who havent been generally able to placed in a position / opportunity where they can attack and hopefully score, we can win this one with a bit more composure and less dropped ball. I like Staines at fullback over Laurie. We can win this one.

Wakeham to 7 and one of Brooks or Doueihi to 6. In some ways I'd like to see the other player play reserve grade and play it out for like 5 weeks. We cannot get ourselves a functional spine and I'm concerned a huge part of it is playing players in positions that they aren't suited. Brooks isn't suited to being a dominant playmaker. I have no idea what Doueihi's best position is.

This is a coaching issue but Madge didn't solve it either.

Not having a crack at you Earl but I don't think it's coaching - it's mental attitude of the players. With this team it's like grease in your hands after a day on the tools - just won't come out no matter how hard you try and no matter which degreaser you use.
