I've been saying it's his best position for about 2 years. I was talking him up as captain. I now want him gone. Our worst player and probably the worst payer in the NRL atm.

Yeah, a middle has to go - either Twal or Joe.
Im hearing Simpkin is weeks away, which means Wakeham probably stays on the bench until then. If Simpkin was back this week I reckon Wakeham plays half and Brooks five eighth.
It definitely would be in the team's plans to bring Matamua in if Moses was to come over as 7. Would turn into a lethal combination over time.

Surely this happens anyway. Play Rua off the bench.
I couldn't drop Joe or Twal. I thought Joe was poor this week but he was our best player last year and he has been decent so far this season. Twal has to me been pretty good but my expectations have been low.

I think he suits the style a lot more than Brooks at 7 and AD at 6. That clearly isn't working at all.
Rua is genuinely dreadful.
If he debuts we’re in a heap of trouble.
If we could get exemption from the NRL, I’d pick Smith on the bench to give Api a rest.

Kepaoa has been a revelation bringing impact to the team. He has played well in all games in an unfamiliar position. I'm surprised he hasn't received more favourable comments.

I think ‘dreadful’ is going too far, but I agree he’s a long way off NRL.
I might be looking away at the wrong times
but I never see him run it.

Yeah, Doueihi at six is insane.
But Douhie demanded to play six,was given the opportunity and is a fail..But we extended him for another year of rubbish....typical WTs....
Sheens never has "excuses" he only has "reasons" and he always has many reasons when we lose.At the moment the main "reason" is it is all the ref's fault when everyone can see that so far the ref's have been decent.Not one of the reasons in his mind is the FACT that he is a complete fraud as a coach.

Just some thoughts for yesterday and sorry if it's already been said....
Game changed once we got AD away from the ball....never to play in the halves again he was woeful. his only strong point was his penalty kicks for touch. Every point that the dogs scored was through something AD did or didn't do. He killed our attack every time.
Brooks and Wakeham together?? I liked it. BW added some much needed spark and a lot of speed.
Never been so happy to see Nofoaluma hooked....thank god.
Klemmer and Bateman were immense, I like Kepaoa and Pole.
There are a few positives out of this game.
For mine, get BW and LB in the halves next week....you want to play running football that's the go.
Prepared to be roasted....

I think the come back has somewhat papered over the cracks, we simply cannot go into next game with Doueihi at 6 and Brooks at 7. It was blatantly obvious when a career reggies half came on we got better, i dont even know if i can deal with Doueihi at 1 for me its centre or bust.

What's for sure is Wakeham is no 7 and maybe Brooks at 6 (he had a good last 25 mins with Wakehams help ) He sure gets thousands of chances

I think the most obvious change in the 2nd half aside from Wakeham was that our forwards were running straight and making metres, not under 7’s pass the ball along the line, which has been part of the game plan for the past 2.5 weeks. Hopefully the penny (sorry I’m old) has dropped in the coaches box.
