A bit of first grade experience mixed in would be handy also.

I guess Moors and Daniella could be added to the squad if not required by Commander Sheens.

good to see josh back in the centres , specially limping off last week with a knee injury

I think it was inevitable with the imminent return of The Beast and the form of Moreton and his goal kicking

daniela might drop back into the centres {if not required in firsts, and josh back into the engine room.

I thought Akeripa would have been named this week. Hope the boys can roll Newtown.

Is Moors with the magpies or Tigers?

I doubt Wests will see much of The Beast once he returns. I think Sheens has him marked down for a bench spot to provide much needed impact in the backrow. His versatility will also enable Sheens to do away with the back on the bench.

Hope you're right Staks. Would love to see Akeripa fit and firing off the bench in FG.

so would i, like to see him scouting out wide picking up his out side men, he's a classy player thats for sure, and a nice kid as well.

NEWTOWN Vs WESTERN SUBURBS
Henson Park, Saturday, March 27
Kick-off: 3.00pm
Referee: Chris Sutton

The second part of our double header from Henson Park will see foundation clubs Newtown and Wests do battle. The Jets will look to pick up where they left off last week after crushing an out of sorts Bears outfit 44-16\. Newtown are perhaps a shade unlucky not to be unbeaten through the opening two rounds of play courtesy of some excellent form from the likes of Ray Moujalli, Nick Doig, and captain Jason Wells. Western Suburbs squeezed home on the back of a Nathan Waters field goal in Round One then went down last week in a grueling encounter against the Tigers. It will be interesting to see how the Magpies back up following that clash as they may have burnt more petrol at Leichhardt than the Jets did at home against the Bears. If the Magpies are to get out of Henson with the two points perhaps they will have to go around the Jets instead of through them. If this is to be the case Rhys Pritchard might be the man, he has an abundance of speed and is an elusive ball runner.

Double Header? Who is playing before it?

I think they were referring to week 1.

I really hope to see a Magpies victory at Henson Park. Yet to see one yet.
