We are going to play so much better with toa and may back in the centres, is going to inprove our attack and defence. Macca on the wing is going to free him up. I also really like taruva on the wing but he has done a good job in the centres.
Also how good is our fitness!!! Parramatta players all getting soft tissue injuries and cramps while our boys were still putting in big efforts. This is what wins big games.

Why was that winger full in even allowed on the field for their 5th player off the bench . I thought it had to be repeated concussions / multiple foul play. The rule literally got bent for them . That whole situation was Ashley Klein just making shit up . It was unreal. How is that muppet head the best ref in the game .
He has more controversial wtf moments then any ref ever . From the nq game , to the nq 5 years in a row farkery in the teens , there was something last year in the finals . There was that howler a couple of years ago for Canberra . He would literally have 15 of the Top 20 howlers / wtf penalty calls . And he’s somehow the best ref in the game ? I’m 💯 convinced in 20 years he’s the nrls version of Tim Donaghy . No one can be that shocking .

So that’s the new rule ? Because Moses went full [This word has been automatically removed] mode when they were taking Simmonsen off with the medic cart . And Gough was calming him down . I have zero idea why he was allowed to chirp for that long .

Ugly wins count same as sensational wins. Eels were super resilient but liked to see put em to the sword. This comp is super close aside from Penrith anyone can win anytime

Or Herbert comes into left centre and Mak to the wing.

Really glad we got the win. In past season we would have been lamenting terrible reffing as the difference but we dug in and showed resilience.

I thought Parra were quite good actually. A lot of intent early on in defence which meant they were winning the field position battle.

I think we should have played more direct and tried to punch holes through the middle third. A few times we started to do that in the back end of the first half and start of the second we made some good ground and metres. Maybe would have played to our strengths a bit more.

The sin-binning was the only reason Eels got back in the game. I didnt think it warranted a sin-bin. I can only hope there’s some consistency for those types of calls for the rest of the season.

On my last note, I absolutely despise Moses. Complete grub and scumbag from his constant milking of penalties to his whinging and sooking. I wish it was 2009 and someone could just go out there and put one on his arrogant chin.

Hunt and Sione coming on made a difference, especially Hunt. It was their forward momentum that got us rolling.

Toa doesn't deserve to be selected on today's form in Cup. Going forward, I see our centres as Douehi and May with Madden and Luai the halves. Finally, good balance of skills.

Quiet I thought. Didn’t do much of anything but I can’t remember him being poor. I’d have to rewatch the game to be sure though.

Though Herbert was our best followed by Javon Andrews and Sukkar. Bunty Afoa was solid and Attard had some classy touches but is a year or two off first grade.

Saukuru scored a few but I see him more as a centre or back row option than winger.

Javon looks sharp with the ball its his defence that concerns me.

Toa looked ok. Id walk him straight back in and its his jersey to lose. Turuva isnt a centre and we need maka on the wing.

I saw Herbert stuff up a basic defensive read that led to a try, I wrote him off after that.

Consistent maybe. Better, no. In form Toa is as good as any centre in the comp. Turuva just fills a gap and does a job without being anything special

whats good is we look so fit, but i think as a whole our squad also looks bigger and stronger than the last few years, those extra few kgs really help in collision but havent slowed us down or shortened the petrol tank at all
