LIVE GAME Round 5 versus Eels

Live Game Discussion
Disagree they were up against it. I don't agree with the sin bin and it was undoubtedly the biggest call of the game but outside of that I thought we got the overwhelming majority of decisions fall our way. Eels had players dropping left right and centre and were forced into multiple reshuffles of their backline. If anything I would argue Eels were up against it.
Yes the bin was a big and in my opinion poor call. But need to react better to adversity. We were running downhill before it so can't blame being gassed during that 10 minutes. It was one reshuffle to the backline for 10 minutes compared to the 4 different ones they had to make.
Actually realised they scored more trys then us. Like to unable to tear apart a team with 3 injuries in the backs . Plus Moses was clearly hampered by injury we should won comfortably

Ruined their day

And Moses again, lowered himself to showing everyone how he has to carry on like a child to try and sway the results.

Shameful display tbh.

We hurt them.
They'll remember this game.
Nursing their wounds for days after this.
Exactly this. They used to dominate us so hard with offloads and power forwards. Best we could hope for was to niggle back and a brave loss. 100% reversal in physical dominance and self belief.

It wasn’t extremely lucky at all.
Without the sinbin we likely win comfortably.
By far the better side.
By far the better side that didn’t execute when parra were lying wounded when LL was back on or the team that conceded two tries when he was on to start? We didn’t look comfortable all game. Hence why Moses was a hairs breath from winning it. We should have won that game easily sure but we certainly didn’t nor can you say we were the far better team when it was as good as lost. We won, just. Hence very lucky. I’ll take it every day of the week though.

Man that 15 minutes was disgusting . It changed the game . All the penalties and 6 agains we got were because we were winning the ruck . They’re rewards for dominance . They’re earnt . Without that decision three no way on earth they come close ,, in fact I think we blow them out . They have the best front running half in the game … and he took full advantage of a winger being the guy who’s off . It shouldn’t have happened . Typical Klein bullshit .

It wasn’t lucky, that’s how this squad plays. They are tough, fit, error prone and physical. Their defence has improved as much as possible when carrying teenagers still.
If you want that to change, look at the coach. He cannot get our attack sorted in the opposition 20 to save his life.

Just on LL's sin-bin; clearly the injury decided the punishment there?

The explanation was an act with a high risk of injury - so you're now saying every tackle in the air should be a sin-bin?

Very unfortunate and wish Simonsson a speedy recovery, but that's no sin-bin unless they all are now.
The carry on after the fact with push and shove with a man clearly very injured certainly didn’t help.

One of the toughest games of the year for us. Parra always turn up. A lot of things went our way today and we only just won.
Are you talking about 6 agains . They’re given because of ruck dominance . Thats why the good teams get them all the time . We are soo used to being shit that we have confused luck for earnt momentum . We got zero piggy back penalties . In fact I would argue we got zero and the eels got heaps . We dominated almost 75% of all tackles either with the ball or in defence . Moses with his whinging influenced the ref . It was disgusting .

I can’t disagree with all you said which is right but I still think we were lucky 😜
