TEAM LIST Round 5 vs Parra

Team List
Still think our edges are a worry.
Agreed. The fact that we're winning games with teenagers filling in and players out of position is great but would still much prefer our starting backline of:

1. Bula
2. Turuva
3. To'a
4. May
5. Makasini

We got a glimpse of a May/Makasini left edge in the trials, but are yet to see the true potential just yet. Salivating thinking about it. Or maybe I'm just hungry...

I'd prefer to keep Turuva at centre with and Skelton or Tavana than have Toa back

Honestly think he’s only getting picked atm because he covers edge and middle just in case.
Yes, that could be his thoughts, but Sione has played a little edge and could be moved there if there's an unlucky injury, well Benji's the coach and he must think his inclusion suits the team and so far it's getting results.

Never liked this idiom but I guess it's relevant, don't fix it if it's not broken, there, forced myself to type it.

IMO Turuva is not suited in the centres. He’s more of a finisher.

To’a is more creative and enables us to not need to play Laulilli who I don’t really rate. Skelton also had a shocker against Souths.
I think it is more about opportunity for Taruva in attack as centre at the moment. His defence as a centre was considered to suspect when he was coming into the postion; but has not proven to be the case so far (touch wood). I think we are a better side with a Toa/Taruva combination on that edge but I'm not concerned about us not rushing Toa back in. It will be good to see how he goes in reggies this week - if he gets through unscathed he will stiffen that edge a little more when we play Newcastle.

To’a does love playing Newcastle lol
