Round 6 spoilers

What’s that saying? ‘The sum of the parts etc etc’ it seems separating Smith an Cronk has had a massive impact on them as individual players

Their forwards are rubbish - JWH and Napa aren't the enforcers they were over the last 2 years - Cordner to me works best in a pack going forward - he is not a leader.

Cordner was alright tonight, he had some hard charges and ran some good lines that went unused as Keary threw terrible cut-out passes.

He played well - but what i am saying is that he is not a forward leader - they lack a real hard head - JWH was that player - he looks past it.

Yeah they do need a pack leader. JWH has fallen off badly and Napa has always been heavily over-rated. I can't believe how much they spent over the off season without doing anything to fix their prop situation…and they've doubled down by spending up big on Crichton for next season already!

The Chookpen in meltdown. Tedesco has gained instant notoriety

Patient mob those Roosters fans, aren't they?

Thats part of the thing with that clip though jirskyr.

They expect instant success. Sometimes its easier to play in a side where not much is expected.

The pressure seems a bit much for Tedesco at the moment. Maybe that is a factor.

Chooks to me don't look like a team that will take the title.

Teddy had a Barry Crocker

They look like they won't even make the 8.

Teddy will be lucky to retain his NSW fullback spot.

On form he shouldn't, but he will. Freddy has virtually said Tom Turbo will be on the wing, with Tedesco at fullback. He will have to improve his game heaps by then tho, otherwise he will be a liability to NSW. He was run over the top of several times tonight.

Roosters look more like shot ducks at the moment - ain't it grand? I'd be stoked if they missed the eight. Years of raping other teams of their best players and buying all the elite players at will, only to fail yet AGAIN! That would make my year!

Hahaha they are loving them some Ted over on the Chookpen! They are even happily spruiking him and Bwaith as their worst-ever recruits. Couldn't happen to 2 bigger twits.
Ah well, at least Ted's got his flash new chompers to console himself with. Maybe he should have a lash at Rushton to turn his frown upside-down.

Mitch Moses makes more effective tackles than the Roosters forwards and they couldn't offload a pie from the oven to a plate.

Cronk and Tedesco may not click , you might find Cronk needs a particular player outside him …..the games plans he was used to where entirely different

They need to find a batch of props quick , not that I care the more years those scum spent at the bottom of the swamp the better

Rather see Souths successful than the Rorters

My view was always that Cronk was a good but not a great player that required the Melbourne and Queensland side around him for his game to click along.
He will be found out with this Roosters roster …. and Uncle Nick May regret he did not go for forward improvements ..... Cronk and Teddy ate up their cap.

Signing Angus Crichton Is another mistake in making. Good to see them wilt.

About gilletts injury haha snap!!!
UBET

@UBET
Rumour is Matt Gillett had been saying for weeks that he was having trouble with his spine but Broncos staff just thought he was talking about Kodi Nikorima.

Roosters are like the Eels and Broncos. For some stupid reason the Three sides have paid overs on the back line while neglecting there forward pack especially props. That's why the 3 of them are struggling. I love it hahs

How funny is it going to be if both Woods and Tedesco lose their rep jerseys. Based on Ted's form you'd have Turbo ahead of him and Woods for mine is well behind the likes of Vaughn, RCG, Debellin or even Boyd and Klemmer. What a difference 6 months makes.

I had a chuckle when teddy made the mistake and when ingles scored. But Teddy had some moments of class as well. He split the Souths line on a number of occasions and made some important tackles.

Still great to see the roosters go down.

I'd have our young prop, Twal, in a NSW junmper before Woods.

Tatola had a good game as well with Douehli on the bench. Two of our juniors!

Wheres Douehi from?
I know Jnr is from Holy X

Dont those Roosters forwards look off the pace. They just look slow to me. Really lack pace to get to where they need to be.

As for their attack, Gus commented on them telling Cronk how to play not the other way around. Hmmmm they didnt direct it at Robinson, more the attack coach, hmmmm

A big part of Teddys game that has gone missing is backing up forwards looking for offloads up the middle. The Roosters forwards do not offload with zero in the first half last night. Teddy isn't even looking for it so it must be part of their game plan to just hold the ball.

Teddy was at his best running onto deft little kicks from Brooks. When Brooks' form tanked last year, so did his. I've always thought he was a good fullback but not great - too many limitations to his game.
