Good morning WTFamily! It's game day! (It's also the first day of the Canowindra International Balloon Festival and the balloons are launching just west of here to fly into town, but there's a week of balloon chasing left...)

I'll be leaving in about an hour to head to my favourite place, Campbelltown Stadium, to watch the boys turn out against the Knights. I'll be heading to The Sherwood first, for lunch with my favourite cousin, then to The Ambush event with some of my favourite forummers - who else is going?

Then off to the stadium, for the NRL followed by the KOE game (unless it's the same time as the meet the players/signing event at The Sherwood).

Can our boys follow up on Monday's winn and beat the Knights? Can they get that elusive 3-in-a-row win? Can we pack CSS again, and cheer them to a win?? I hope so!!

See you there!

Hey Suzie, would you know if Finns Old Store at Canowindra is still going.

Thanks Suzie, such a shame that it's not as it was.

Years ago before my son was born we loved going bush and scrounging around for old wares and interesting bits and pieces in country towns.

Unfortunately my son never travelled well and we mostly had to give it up and these days it breaks your heart to see rows of old shops vacant and permanently closed.

Not much left that still has the old original charm and character these days.

I am looking forward to the game, I hope KPP has a huge game against his old club. Please please please, can we wrap the game up early & not do the golden point thing again, I don’t think my heart could take that again. Safe travels to everyone driving to the game.
Just reminding everyone that swearing or disguised swearing & personal attacks are not allowed on the forum. We need to keep the forum a friendly place for our Wests Tigers fans. If you feel the need to get abusive, walk away & yell at the sky until it passes. One Team, climbing up that ladder one rung at a time. 🐅

I just saw the last time we won 3 NRL games in a row was 2018, surely we are due ?
You'd like to think so...best team we'e put together since then (you could argue that on paper this team is most certainly better), the club is in the best place it has been since then, we are growing again in the SW and we have only won 2 out of past 17 at C'town so we really are due.

Plenty of good omens but boy have I said that before. Two years back we had a two-game streak going into a game v the Dragons at C'town, similar expectation to this and we totally laid an egg. The sell out crowd went completely silent after an early Dragons try. Let's see if 2026 is actually different than the other times it felt different.
