TEAM LIST Round 7 vs Broncos

Team List
Brisbane team.... sheesh from all the narrative about a million outs I wasn't expecting to see 10 proven good to great pros in the their starting 13. Bench could be weak, but id say more unknown. Obviously a couple of huge outs but hardly decimated.

Willison and Hass will help us sort out where our pack is at. This game is a real test, more than Newcastle or Parra to be fair.

Didn't Wilson get two or three try's against us last year from a few metres out and one was dodgy

Theres been way too much hype for us this week. Definitely need Luai now more than ever to keep the young guys in check. Samuela, Seyfarth, maka and Turuva have a tendency to carry on a bit.

Please win, please. I'm still burnt from the broncos game in campbelltown where Isaaako scored the penalty goal to win.
Oh the Pain the Pain burnt into Campbelltown history horrible night

no carrigan and Walsh are huge outs for them. Our forwards should have there measure up front.
if I was framing the market $1.50 seems reasonable for tigers I'd have brisbane probably $2.65
I expect tigers to really firm in to $1.40 by kickoff.
we win this
Walsh and carrigan are big outs but look how we went without luai, may and toa. We actually got better.

This broncos team won the comp and coming off a loss..

I wouldnt be going near the $1.50 let alone your $1.40 lol

I probably will not back tigers this week
I am taking
Canberra $2.15
Titans to beat New Zealand @ $3.65

Compare this team to 3 years ago. Chalk and cheese. Our defence has just improves souch on the edges it's not funny. I want to see Luai and Douihie combine well and play direct. Don't want to try and score off every lay and run sideways.

Close enough here's 2023 round 6...we have 5 of the same 17 players (both Alex, Api, fonua and AD)

Reynolds is cactus , Ezra imo is the type of player that can carve us up on his own. Hopefully not this tigers team though 🤞
The young half on the bench had a great game for the Broncos last week and kicked very well I like him more then the ex Melbourne half at Parramatta I think he has great upside

I agree OMT. The depleted Broncos narrative is a load of BS. Yes they have a lot of players missing but they just replace them with their bloody good depth.

Paix will no doubt will allowed to play so their only potential weakness is a less x-factor fullback but Arthars is still a very good player & Reynolds injury cloud. Even so Reynolds is class and if he plays, we need to be on him.

But as long we turn up with the intent & discipline we have the past 3 weeks, we can beat them.

Tino Tavana must still be out with hamstring strain as he's done nothing to be dropped and is a weapon in attack, great finisher, great in the air.

That being said I expect some late mail, last minute change/s though I REALLY hope that the full side posted actually does take the field.

I'd like to see Adam Doueihi (if his groin & hammy are up to the task) put up those monstrous spinning high balls for Taylan May & Jahreem Bulla to challenge the Broncos wingers & fullback in the air.

Goal kicking?? Adam Doueihi if he's fit, Patrick Herbert if he's not & Jock Madden if/when he gets on the field.

Defence? If they don't clock off that'll take care of itself especially after the roasting they would have copped for their lack of urgency in the last 10 or 15 mins against the Knights. Talyn May & Patrick Herbert are both good defenders and WILL be a big improvement on the Heamasi Makasini & Luke Laulili'i combo that has been vulnerable the last 2 weeks, I reckon Makasini will have a blinder back on the wing.
