I think Galvin is right, Benji can’t coach.I think it was a very poor game by the officials
But the tigers virtually played with 2 off their bench
Minimum time for TDS
Sukkar nil time ??

Good summary.All of this hurts...
Firstly Isaac Moses 1- Wests tigers 0.
We lost all grades this week. Not a mature club.
Club did a reasonable job of making it feels like a home ground but it still didn't. Well done to eels fans for turning up, was probably a 60/40 split to us
Moses dominated the game and targetted laulilii better than any team has. Moses was excellent.
Line speed, tackling and our dirty hit ups were all very poor.
Naden and laulilii play scared, toa isnt a gritty player and turuva had his worst game for us. Compare that with the quality play of Skelton and our backs in better form and it goes a long way to explaining that game.
I don't know why luai didn't play 1st receiver more. When he's on the ball either side he's excellent, he needs to be our ball hog.
Doueihi didn't play well.
IMO Galvin's work rate has been covering for our weak backline. I didn't expect that to be the case but without him we were very passive and sideways where he is always taking the line on. It masks a lot of our deficiencies . Again, I underappreciated how important galvin was to us. Having doueihi play distributor meant we lost his wide running and his distribution was average.
Ref was random and really disruptive to the game. Would love that to be an excuse, but our tackling and line speed were pathetic today. Back to the old scrambling markers and defensive line not able to push up. No one was hitting today.
So disappointing.
Jesus how do you get out of bed everyday?Same .. I feel like lying in bed on the fetal position.. even my adult kids are feeling sorry for me and consoling me with tirades about the terrible officiating at crucial times of the game .. the boys had a go , a big go , but it just feels like the Rigby league gods are toying with us at times … look at the bounce Simmonson got compared to the bounce laulliil had to contend with .. the addio Carr intercept , the head high swinging arm tackle of Moses that “didn’t affect the try” ? Huh ?? The hip drop that was not on the legs , the douhie broken nose that was low .. the shoulder charge into May on the first tackle of the game ..Parra had an absolute clean sheet at half time ..thing is I cannot stop my heart from bleeding black and gold , I really just want a fair go from the referees .. we do not ever get the rub of the green from them . We have other issues I know , but come on .. stop inventing reasons to punish us ..
Was at the game and was amazed at how quickly TDS came and went. He added a lot of energy when he got out there today. Not using Sukkar is odd. Midway through that second half he could have had an impact.I think it was a very poor game by the officials
But the tigers virtually played with 2 off their bench
Minimum time for TDS
Sukkar nil time ??
First set of the game I thinkWests Tigers v Parramatta
Kelma Tuilagi (PAR)
Grade 2 Shoulder Charge on Terrell May (1 min)
Base penalty 3 matches
2nd offence
- Early Plea - 3 matches
- Guilty at panel / no contest - 4 matches
PLEA: 12pm Tuesday
Not to have a whinge but how does such a serious offence get turned a complete blind eye to with all the technology?
Judging by the grading, is that not a sin bin?
RHS do you agree Benji is making far too many mistakes as a coach from poor use of his interchange to baffling lack of strategy such as not running our big men at Mitchell Moses returning from a long injury lay off, lack of finding ways to get our edge back rowers running hard and getting one on one opportunities like every other NRL club does, like Luai barely running the ball, he’s made a career of being a great ball runner, why does that stop when he plays for Wests Tigers and why is Luai not getting the ball or demanding the ball in high pressure situations such as when it went to Doueihi who put he in an abysmal kick on the 4th tackle when the Eels only had 11 players on the field ?They have to stop playing Terrell for so long he will have nothing left in the second half of the season.
Yep, first tackle from the kick off.First set of the game I think
Doesn't know the Tigers song, so hopefully he wouldn't know Parra either. Is it true Galvin was in the sheds with Parra singing their victory song ?
I just knew Tucker Annesley would come in to bat for the referees!! 100 💯 !! Did you read my post mate ? I am upset that we lost , amongst fellow fans on a Tigers supporter forum I am saying “yeah losing really upsets me as well “ .. I then went on to say that my kids were trying to console me by referencing the obvious refereeing decisions that stood out to them ( though they both support other NRL teams) … I then went on to say that we have other problems aside from refereeing but I would really like to come away from a game without some absolute howlers occurring that we are always and forever on the wrong side of .. .. you are welcome to support the refs and more power to you if you think that the decisions are legit today .. but I am certain that a player being head highed whilst trying to put the ball down affected the play , maybe it’s just me .. also a hip drop I assumed involved the hips dropping on the legs .. Tulilagi seems to recover pretty well the same as poor old CNK when the referee awarded him a match winning penalty for a high shot that he didn’t even need a HIA for .. perhaps it affects me more than it should and that is why I pour my heart out on this forum ,, you know TUCK, the forum for Wests Tigers supporters ,, I may be crazy but it just seems like the most appropriate place to seek some empathy or common sentiment to me.. 😇Jesus how do you get out of bed everyday?
LOL fair dinkum some of you guys worry me.
We got some poor calls, so did they. They copped 2 sinbins and still ran 7 tries through us.
The problem is our leaders talked the talk this week and it seems they wasted a lot of energy on an issue that was out of their control. When it came time to walk the walk, they couldn’t match it with a team they flogged only a month ago and who were sitting 1 and 5 with their only win a one pointer against the dragons.
Snidest I agree with you as I was expecting good improvement from him this season now his most recent ACL injury is well behind him, but I’m not seeing g any improvement unfortunately.@Vicious in answer to your previous question regarding Doueihi exceding my expectations....
NO - he's clearly lived down to them in his benchmark 100th career game!
At centre where his gutless defence - lack of fitness & speed + career-defining lack of effort we were able to cover for him for a while....
But his traditonal turnstile effort on Brown from the kick-off late in the 2nd half clearly demonstrated what a massive liability he is & has always been to our chances of winning & how his low effort impacts his more committed teammates performances!
His NRL career winning ratio 39% is a fact!
Trust fund baby who plays with a cloak of self-preservation & has zero motivation to be the best player he could be!!
Suburban A-grade level player at best! (He'd struggle for physicality in the Central Coast comp!)
Latu at 6 & Naden in the centres should be ahead of him in any fully fit team!
Aside from his one missed tackle on JAC I thought Turuva was great.Dont think Luai is fit,,,maybe old shoulder injury?
Dont think Naden is fit either..just wasnt involved
Like Skelton last week,I wonder whether were bringing them back too early?
Douhi way too slow off the mark to ever play in halves
Bula still needs considerable work in positional play and defence..what is Hodgo there for?
Tureva comprehensively outplayed by JAC,but it wont happen too often...hes been greatCan forget his SOO jersey, and quite frankly it wld suit WTs if Luai lost his too.Needs a rest
Concerned about May's work rate..weve got other big bodies
A nite to forget for Benji..actually a week tbh
i was disappointed in the team effort - thought /hoped we turned a corner but just rolled over again on a game that we didn't stand up for with the week of turmoil we just had ..Hope they reflect on the shame of that n take us to the 8I was disappointed in his game today. I thought he had the chance to shine which he did not.
I’m not defending the refs, they got a few wrong today against us.I just knew Tucker Annesley would come in to bat for the referees!! 100 💯 !! Did you read my post mate ? Big fan of Tureva but he missed a cple of important tackles and his temperament got the better of him when he tossed away their 9 ..Aside from his one missed tackle on JAC I thought Turuva was great.
Agree on all your other concerns and I don’t think being injured is the problem.
