It’s been reported that Jerome has been playing conservatively to try and keep Galvin happy and that’s why he’s been pretty quiet on attack. Doesn’t have to do that anymore.
Unleash The Tiger 🐯
Reported ?
Our eyes don't need reports.
Hope Mitchy has the same yips that Burton had this arvo.
We got this one.

Oh yeah but he loves the Tigers, no one takes the fool seriously on here, full of shit.
Benny did the same thing when Mitch, Woods & Teddy left the Tigers... his loyalty is strictly with $$ & family over any amorphous "Tigers" branded franchise...

Call Foxsports (ask for Paul Crawley) & complain about giving him a platform to lie and squirm while describing him as a 'Tigers legend'... The hosts even use leading a question format that perpetuates the myth:

"Benny - you love the Tigers - will ..... be good/bad ....?"

I have socialised with Benny - and as a player I respect him as a generational talent & loyal Balmain servant - but not so much as a man of honesty and integrity.

He has certainly done no favours to either Balmain or Wests Tigers since retiring (aside from recommending Sheens when we missed Bellamy in 2003 after the Lamb experiment had spectacularly failed) - and both he and his broader family's professional ethics are demonstrably highly questionable.

I feel Parra will be very competitive on Monday. I reckon they know Galvin will be with them soonish and will want to punish Luai and the Tigers for all the crap that has gone on this week.

We will have to be at our best to beat them imo.
I hope their whole entire team.and staff are aware of their alleged anti tampering breaches...because it wont.be long before one of them.lets the cat outta the bag .
This stuff would be known for certain by only a select few

My biggest concern is not the absence of Galvin
Its a key player ie Douehi playing out of position
This year he's a very competent center and would prefer not to move him
With Luai at 7 then our No 6 should be quick of the mark and to me apart from Latu I think 2 guys display that speed off the mark that is either Da Silva or Toa or even Api
I guess we can still reshuffle during the game as needs dictate
I think Doueihi will be fine and I only base that on the form I saw in that preseason game when he found himself back in the halves.

He is a pretty big body and has the ability to dig into the line and unlike Galvin, has more chance of coming out the other side.

A bonus, if his groin is 100% would be a few of his high floating bombs and hopefully his goal kicking being back to his best.

My greatest worry is that we do not go into this game with too much complacency expecting an easy win and I also can't help wondering whether we see the good Brent Naden or the train wreck version that ends up costing us.

Have no illusions, this could be a real danger game.

Danger game for sure, the Eels are strong on the sheet for this one, and their cultural leader is back at 7... That little bastard always has a good showing v us. They are desperate at this point......
I think the emotion and reaction to news this week will either take us to the moon with the team galvinised or yeah, dont want to entertain a loss TBH.

If we lose the F media will be all over us next week, the Galvan worshippers will be saying he should never have been dropped, we can't win without him or some similar ridiculous rubbish.
Need to win big and shut these idiots down.

AD is way more than what you have described here. He's a damn good footy player. He was better than solid when he played against Parra in that pre season trial. He bossed it. Kicked 5/5, kicked a 40/20, big, long cut out passes to the left side, 2 try assists if i recall correctly.

Still only 26, has no shortage of pace. Don't forget he was stuck playing Madgeball next to Brooks for a lot of his time at the club. He gets to play eyes up footy now. He'll go we
I don't disagree with your statement for the most part. However, where you see a better than solid player I see one that doesn't fight to get to his feet, watches a dropped ball sit on the ground for the opposition to pick up and gives up the chase in defenxe once the player is out of his lane. All this has occured in 2025 where I said he was plaing OK.

AD will do a job for us know doubt. In your eyes he meets the job specs, in mine he is below par. When he becomes a team first as opposed to AD first player I will change my opinion. Until then I will be happy to let him go to another club in 2026 and purchase in a player with ADs skills and a team first attitude.

Personal opinion though, you have just as much right to yours, and I respect that.

Ever since Moses went to Parramatta I'm not sure the tigers have beaten them with him playing?

Unfortunately I'll never forget that first game at CommBank... Especially kicking a fking field goal in the dying seconds when they were like 40 points up. Pr1ck. 😠
