His meant to not hit someone in the head (and late)
Most high tackles are unintentional, but under the rules all tacklers hold the responsibility. Unfortunately latrell has proven a number of times to have trouble tackling below the shoulders irrespective. of circumstance.
So it is reasonable for latrell to be treated the same as others.
I get what u saying however u couldn’t answer my question

Most players can make excuses for why most high tackles occurred, but it means nothing.

Don’t ask me what he should do, because it means nothing, I don’t make the rules.

He is not the first to be suspended for a high tackle on someone that lowers their height. He can always challenge the suspension as can any player/club.

You need to Knock on the NRL Door, as many clubs/commentators have, but the NRL make these black and white rules.

I don’t agree with all the rules or how they are applied (correctly or incorrectly)

This Penrith team, on paper....just doesn't strike me as a finals team.

Cleary, fantastic player, but he's lacking all his genuine weapons with this squad.

Wonder if all the bandwagon fans that jumped on over the past few years will stick with em when they're [hopefully] winning the spoon.

NRL refs & the bunker again highlighted their ineptitude tonight...

They're a collective of brainwashed imbeciles who while being force-fed 'decision-trees' and 'key-indicators' have no idea what actually constitutes foul play or dangerous contact outside of that framework!

The number of sin-bins over the first 5 games of the round - along with the soft calls to not use the bin on more serious incidents is a blight on the integrity of the contest and safety of the players if that is indeed their focus!

PS - feel free to tell me Nathan's not overrated again...

I stand by my opinion that Penrith kept the wrong players with limited attacking flair or x-factor in their remaining spine!

He didn't need to bend his back on the much smaller player...

It was LATE + poor and dangerous technique and all players have a duty of care to protect the head of their oponent so it was always going to be a grade 1 head contact charge -

And given Latrell's extensive judiciary record for foul play means he couldn;t get a discount on the charge...

He's lucky to get just 1 week given his form - and Souths would be better off if he was banned for the season so they could stop this charade of selecting him ahead of Jye Gray!

Penriths 10 points came off the back of refereeing/touchie blunders
The non 40/20 and a high shot against waddell which was nothin

this game was a mess and it'll only get worse, particualarly in wet slippery conditions....seeing so many games now with ridiculously lopsided stats, possesion and red zone tackles

Im betting on 4 bins in our game tomorow

IMO ever sense the 6 again calls came into the game it has gone downhill and I am not enjoying it like in the past.

It is a dead set lottery (we are normally on the wrong side of course) but fans have had enough.

They can spend mins looking for a fingernail touch to rule a no try YET they cannot overrule a blatant forward pass for a try.. Not talking about line ball ones but the ones where everyone including the Bunker would agree but they cannot overrule it.

Common sense is needed urgently, and these are the 2 areas that need changing.
