LIVE GAME Round 8 v Raiders

Live Game Discussion
Btw big credit to Turuva!!!!!!! Took the toughest carries in our end and annoyed raiders out of the game. Great chat telling our younger boys game is not over when we were in front

His laugh at stepping Starling whilst being tackled was brilliant. Turuva is such an important piece at the back and we need him on the wing as much as possible. Just has a knack for penalty/six again & punching through the line.

Will be a real test next week with possible Hooker,2nd row & Fullback all missing.
We have had a good run with injuries this year let’s hope tonight isn’t the time things changed.
Losing KPP would really affect our structure
As our 2x 2nd rowers have made a lot of difference in how we defend.
Another good TEAM performance tonight.

His passing is poor under fatigue. It becomes loopy and slow, plus he sometimes takes a couple of steps before passing. It’s part of the reason our red zone attack isn’t great. I’d love to have a pacey, running hooker come on and play 25 to 30 minutes when Royce and Sione come on.
Exactly. A running hooker 28th - 50th minute or so. API threw that ball to Tyrell May at his laces near the end. He was gassed even after 10 minutes. Off the field.

Need that 2nd hooker to keep the momentum going

It was a category 2 and he did fail the test. Does the failed test mean it’s upgraded to a category 1?

My understanding is that they don’t know what category it is until he gets assessed by the doctor… if he fails it’s a Cat 1….if he is ok it’s Cat 2 and can come back on the field

I watched fhe 9 coverage and Danika Mason said he failed the test 🤷

I know a bloke at the nrl that works in this department. Will ask him tomorrow and report back.

He really didn’t do much. Nothing of note either way. An average first hit out which isn’t bad when you think about it.
He did zero in attack. The few times he bothered to have a run and help out the back three, he took an age to get up and play the ball. He's so lethargic and lazy.

And his non effort for the Canberra try was criminal

Hudson Young, Olakau'atu, Cam Murray, and Liam Martin are all ahead. Think Angus Crichton is probably ahead too despite not playing that great for Chooks.
Hudson Young is a liability. The amount of errors and penalties he gives away costs games. He's played 6 origins and lost 5 of them and been a big cause in those losses. Liam Martin is injured and out of form. Angus is going to rugby, I wouldn't pick him based on that coz his form has waned. Cam Murray, Olokau'atu, Sam Fainu and Jacob Preston are the best second rowers NSW has
