Let's hope he can pull another performance like the one he pulled against the Cowgirls was it last year? Or the year before when he ran riot & scored M.O.M.

I think Madden should be starting but having him at 14 is pointless. I don't get the idea of shifting the halves around mid-match. I'd prefer Hope if Latu is being put into KOE for game time. That situation just looks jumbled to me, and it didn't help any of the halves doing it this way last week.

Nope, not confident at all. Our forwards can dominate, but Raiders can too. Our halves are questions. On their day, good, off their day, lacking organisational and tactical wherewithal that Madden can supply. Our backline i just don't know, I am very nervous with Toa there, but if Bula can hit his peak, we can do it. Which WT team will turn up? Similar question to Raiders. Could tear us a new one, or we could so same to them.

Harsh call on both Makasini and Latu

I think Makasini has looked ready for a spell. He could have done with a rest last week. He's been copping heavy contact with those dirty carries. Not a slight on him at all, but he needs to be managed properly. Unfortunately I feel like this has come a week or 2 too late...

Welcome to the wests tigers version of back to the future...... Been manufacturing half backs since 2006 .... Still doing it 20 years later.....

Even the most staunchest AD supporter will admit he is a 5/8 not a half back... He is not even the best 5/8 the club......

What's worse is we have an actual half back sitting on the bench watching this whole sad sorry experiment.....

We spent the whole of last year making Luai play second fiddle to Galvin and now we are forcing Laui to play with an inferior but passable second 5/8 as a half back. But all the AD supporters will tell you Luai is the problem.

Benji will get enough wins to convince himself he is right and persist in keeping the same combinations.

Now that both Benji and AD are signed long term strap yourself in for the sad sorry tale that is the Weststigers putting a square peg in a round hole, it always ends the same way.

This time it will be the destruction of Luai s and AD reputations and careers and Benji on the coaching scrap heap......but don't worry we have 4 years to get there ....strap yourself in and enjoy.....

Crazy to be hating on Benji not playing maka, sticky has just done the same with tamale. The experienced coaches do this for the younger players all the time. If anything it shows Benji is learning and adapting at a fast rate. You risk permanently damaging his psyche by continuing to play him. Oppositions have been targeting him crazy since the trials. It may not be coming off for mak right now but there’s no doubt the prospect is there.

They are a momentum team.
Target Sanders side should provide points.
We must start well and hold it into halftime
If we take our opportunities we win.

Main concern is back end of games, last 3 games we have struggled at the end and let in a few points. Our fitness that was sprouted is questionable for 80mins currently.

Short turnaround doesn’t work for us.

I dont think you can run a bench with Latu and Madden. They both cover the same spot.

Truth be said, as a bench player, Latu probably offers a bit more as hes a bit more dynamic, however it would be hard to drop Jock all together. Really tough call around.

Think it's good for Latu. I imagine he will play halfback in reserve grade. Would be nice to see him play 80 minutes. Any time there is an opportunity to get miles in his legs is worth it.

The thing with Klein is he is not biased, he is equally bad for both teams. You just gotta hope the game isn't close and your team is in front, cause you know he will screw you. The trick is to keep your challenge up your sleeve. You do NOT want him reffing without being able to challenge his disastrous calls.

It's not panic, it's shear frustration. We have bundles of talent and we are off to a great start.

But it' meaningless if the coach continues to put his head in the sand and continue to play AD as A half back because he professed his love for AD in the off season.....

The start gave hope but it's all taking a very familiar pattern....

Luai has done nothing, no matter who he is with. Big disappointment.

AD isn't a half back period, I have always said he needs to be in the team.

Luai hasn't been allowed to play his natural game since he arrived.

Judge him after he plays with a proper half back....
