That's what we thought about Mitchell Moses. He tanked and we let him out. We cannot let that happen again unless we want to remain the laughing stock of the NRL.

Completely agree and I said last week that we shouldn’t have dropped him but if we think Galvin is the best option then he should’ve stayed in the squad. Bringing him back into the squad puts him and his manager in a position of power by showing that we’re reliant on them and making the club look weak
 
Welcome back to the greatest player in the history of rugby league, future immortal, Lachlan Galvin. While last week was a tough week for him, I think we can all agree that we should lay down the red carpet and allow him to do whatever he wants. If he wants to make 36 hit ups, let him do it. He is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Without him we can only dream of becoming a great club like Parramatta.
 
Correct me if I’m wrong but Benji said in the press conference that dropping Galvin was more about getting him out of the spotlight than a direct retaliation to him not staying at the Tigers. I think it’s important to remember that the media narrative is always going to be extreme given they need to use sensationalism to have people read their dribble. It’s likely that whatever is actually going on within the club and squad is a lot less controversial.

I don’t think this is embarrassing for the club at all. If Galvin performs, great. If he doesn’t, then Latu comes back into the side when fit. Ultimately, I didn’t think Doueihi played well at 7. I think it would be more embarrassing to stick with that option, cutting off our nose to spite our face so to speak.

By continuing to back the wrong horse.
Being at the bottom for so long we’ve favoured players that put in, are club icons, work hard for the team whilst not recruiting in any talent instead.
Twally, love him as a bloke but he is not a career top 17 player. His the guy that comes out of cup and does a job. Every other team would not of retained one or even both of Twal and Seyfarth especially given they are playing key top 13 positions this year. Heart over mind has been the motive for many of our recent decisions.
I feel sorry for them.
Richo really needs to get out there and sign some quality top 17 players to really create a competitive feeling around our club.

Do you honestly think the spotlight is going to be any less if we don't pick him and we keep losing?
That supports him being victimised
He has stated that he wants to fulfill his contract and while ever he has not been injured since last season he has been selected.
As far as we know he is a contracted player till the end of next season and that's how we should be treating it.

Your view is based on the condition that we keep losing. What's your view if we win without him ?
 
Have to look at it, glass half full.

He's our best chance to help us win. Who cares what happens to him, lets use him for what he's good at. Tigers are bigger and better than any one player.

If he plays well, that's good but if he doesn't we can drop him.
 
Big game, welcome back Lachy, we should really make an event of it, have a presentation and name a toilet block after him.

To be perfectly honest, if Benji was going to bring him back after a week he should not have even been selected and played in KOE.

We just should have said we are resting him to keep him away from the media circus after the tumultuous events of the preceding week, even though his manager and father have been the Head Clown and Ring Masters in this circus act.
 
Probably the only team we could pick tbh. For the first time in a long time I'll be sitting this one out, have trouble coming to terms with LG playing, right or wrong descion

I doubt he'd tank ala Mich Moses

It does put in view of everyone though
A/ If he plays well then great for us, hopefully the rest of the team see past all the drama
B/ If he has a stinker and its obvious to all then another potential dropping is seen for what it is ( not that I think that will happen I think he'll stay in firsts from here on in)
