I know the team in total loses these games but !

He played in 5 of our 6 wins last year so it's not all bad !!

I’m glad we have experienced first graders coming into the backline though. A few forwards get injured and we can’t say the same.

Staines tries hard - there will be no problem with that. It’s just that he’s simply not effective. He makes little to zero metres on his hard carries, his D is mistake ridden and passive. Also I imagine he is far from match fit.

Naden has actually played alright this year and he was in the team last week and made a huge play to get out of the in goal in golden point.

Seems to have a new lease on life. He's decent depth quality.

We lose a lot in attack and yardage with Staines. He's relatively safe under the high ball though.

The good news is our 1, 6, 7 and 9 are in tact as well as our bench.

We have to play direct. Play short to Sam Fainu on the left and just punch it up the middle all game.
