Is it just me or is he looking alright tonight. Gotten some nice passes into holes where he was unlucky to be cut down by good defense. Plus he's made a couple good tackles.

Everytime he got the ball he looked a threat to do something, was just good defense that stopped him.

Definitely looks a lot sharper than he has in recent times. Pity the team isn't playing well on the whole - we might've seen some really good stuff from him tonight.

Yep exciting to see him string good performances together. That quick ball for Simona was freakishly good and he looked fast! Happy for Rowdy. Never lost faith!

He was ok, Felt he was hard done by with the obstruction rule. Simona has him for pace though as he showed with his first try.

Hmmm… I'm not so sure. Simona is really fast but I know Lawrence was faster in top shape and he hasn't opened up since his latest return. I've a feeling his got that speed back. He doesn't look to be playing limited at all.

Even if Simona was faster what does it matter? They're both faster than Noffa and Ayshford.

The problem hasn't been his hip this year. It's been his hammies. Looks like he's finally got em right.

Looks like he has a different body shape to me,looked leaner and fitter. His best game for some time.

His best game in a couple of years.
Still nowhere near where he was before his injury and I don;t think he'll ever be the great he would have been but is finally starting to show signs that he can get back to being a well above average centre.
He may just stay out of the backrow for a year or two more.

I thought there was a lot to like about his game tonight. He no longer has the acceleration or light feet to manufacture a break when theres nothing on, but when our offensive structures are going well he benefits because he's still one of the best hole running centres and runs great lines when in form.

well spotted gnr.. saw this thread at half time and thought the same.. he proved it in the second half.

CANT WAIT!
