Simmons comes back there goes our membership and The CEO will know about it has to be a joke.Had a gut full of the jobs for the boys and it's made worse by the fact that they offer nothing and bring nothing to the table!

Tim is getting a little hard of hearing and Royce repeats the numbers for him and he is only getting 150 k of the clubs money to do that

I am not that new here :wink:

I have said many times that at any other club Tim Sheens would have been sacked most likely at the end of 2008 or definately at the end of 2009.

I really hope the board have the nuts to sack him and his mates and the end of this year especially if we miss the 8.

Don't think ill bother with membership next season if Royce waltzes back in. Will still go to games and follow the side however this is a pathetic move. The bloke was a rubbish first grade coach at penrith, a rubbish defensive coach for 7 years here, and a total flop at st helens. Sheens says he could out coach them all though. 2 years with Folkes, two top 4 finishes now back to the job for the boys mentality.

This is absolutely ridiculous and a dead set joke.

Royce Simmons has been an absolute failure as any sort of coach in rugby league.

He coached Penrith for seven seasons, only making the finals twice and winning a wooden spoon. In seven years he had a 41% win record with the Panthers.

He was sacked from St Helens in just his second season for poor performances.

Can someone give me even a single logical reason why this is a good move? Why people shouldn't be peeved off? This is nothing more than jobs for the boys. It is sickening.

What I found interesting was Royce's words at the start of his second season at St Helens (just before he was sacked).

“They expect to win. They do not accept not winning."

“I'd better hold a bit of silverware up this year or I'll be on the plane. That's how things are."

You've got to be a winner or you don't exist too long. And that's good.”

That's OK mate, you're a failure but there's a job here for you when you get back after failing. They accept not winning at Camp Concord, unlike St Helens. Who cares if you can't coach, you're one of the boys so let's bring you back.

The moment that captured Royce for me was at the SCG, ground bathed in sunshine and him setting up the witches hats in a rain poncho
