I used to love all 3 grades, Sunday arvo, sitting on the hill at a suburban ground, with "footy friends", you know, people you only saw at the footy.

Had a chuckle at the ad for the 'Cheso Hornets'.
I played for Chester Hill in the 60's when we were called Chester Hill United.
Abbott Park is now the Terry Lamb complex.
Funnily enough Terry was our ballboy one year.

Hate seeing Joe Cool in the opposition line-up, though always interesting seeing players in the lower grades, some notable names nearing the end of their careers and some just starting out.

Notice Wayne Lambkin turning out for the Magpies in the under 23's.

Hate seeing Joe Cool in the opposition line-up, though always interesting seeing players in the lower grades, some notable names nearing the end of their careers and some just starting out.

Notice Wayne Lambkin turning out for the Magpies in the under 23's.

I've seen Lambkin kick some great Magpie goals under pressure.
